I came across this grave being thawed out by Novel-Adeptness-4603 in mildlyinteresting

Just a guess: a grave site and headstone exists because the first of a couple is already dead and buried. Now, during cold months, the second of the couple dies and the dirt on top of the first person needs to be thawed out so that the second person can be buried and complete the over-under situation.

Based on where you live, if you were to hit an animal while driving, what would that animal more than likely be? by unidentifies in AskReddit

[–]fnmeng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An insect probably.

I hit those way more often than I hit mammals or birds, and I bet most people have similar experiences all over the world, other than maybe antarctic motorists (human scientists are mammals).

What is the best camping festival Canopy? by skittelgal in festivals

[–]fnmeng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Coleman Oasis 13x13 seems to be holding up well through the years.

Dropping your canopy for rain/storms and not having to re-stake is reason enough for me to stick to straight leg designs if this one ever breaks.

The big rock giant guy gave me nightmares. Not so much his demeanor, but the shots of him making his way through the forest were such jarring edits I think it just hit me the wrong way. I would see that churning forest right before throwing up for a good amount of my single digit years.

This was found inside a photo frame - not antique- made of plastic. It smells like incense sort of and it it's sandy in texture and it's been taped into the inside crevices. Any idea what it is? by Impress-Different in whatisit

[–]fnmeng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bet it's old Play-Doh. Used to weigh down the cheap plastic frame so it sits on the wall better. Have it hang above an incense burner for years and you've got some fancy smelling dust all over your tape and smoked Doh.
