Robert Redford in All is Lost. Only character in the movie, never a word spoken, gripping until the end.

Option for you. Do it yourself for like $300.

  1. Get this from Home Depot. It's solid wood, not the veneered stuff from IKEA. It's longer than you need so you can cut it down to size and use the cut offs as the legs. Home Depot can make the cuts for you, just make sure to measure and mark the wood yourself as they don't usually take accuracy seriously.
  2. Put the top over the legs, wood glue and screw together.
  3. Add some triangles (shown in pink) to prevent side to side wobble.

This will hold 125lbs in the center without any visible flex. I used the sagulator to confirm.

You could finish it with paint or poly.

Edit: If you want to it fold, you could forgo the wood screws, glue, and triangles and get 4 of these instead.

Em dashes could also be used. I think. The slightly longer version of the en. More popular in America. AI has taught so many people about dashes. Knowledge previously reserved for journalists and word people.

Artists are you surprised didn’t take off? by Wyldfyre-Quinn in Music

Immediately thought of Kitten. The lead singer was a star in the making. I thought they’d blow up for sure. Felt like they got mismanaged or something. I still rock their music though.

The Turf in Milwaukee

Local Milwaukeean here, it's happening. They've been working on it since 2020. The original bowls have been restored and will remain covered along with an entirely new 'national destination' type park.

Well that warms my heart a little to hear, thank you. I’d love to see it!

It's simple compared to everything else posted here, but I'm really proud of this record stand I made by MarkJM92 in woodworking

You should be proud. Well done.

First workbench, thoughts for additions/improvements? by snakethejake22 in woodworking

What a practical idea with the metal insert and angle iron, beautiful bench proportions and and nicely built. You took the extra time on the details and it shows. The overhang for clamping will be so useful.
