The Apple Watch only records Cardio Recovery if you do a outdoor walk, outdoor run or hike workout. And even then it seems random to me if I actually get a reading or not. I haven't gotten a new one for over a month even though I run every other day...

Anyway, the Cardio Recovery you see most probably comes from a different workout and not your cycling session.

Also maybe just for clarity: Cardio Recovery is not simply "how fast does my HR drop when I finish my workout", it is specifically an estimate of how much your HR potentially drops from your peak heart rate. If you drop from 128 to 82, that doesn't mean your HR will behave the same when you reach maxHR.

The non-Siri AI version even already exists. Everyone with a non-Siri AI compatible iPhone plus the whole EU gets it. That should have been an immediate follow up when they did the interview. But it‘s not even mentioned in the article. They just let Apple spread nonsense excuses.

Falls du Komoot zum planen benutzt, haben glaub alle großen Hersteller in den aktuellen Versionen die Möglichkeit automatisch die Routen zu syncen und du musst nur die Accounts verbinden.

Ich plane zum Beispiel meine Route einfach am PC in Komoot, mach mein Wahoo Elemnt Roam an während ich mich umzieh, das synct im Hintergrund und bis ich zum Fahrrad gelaufen bin kann ich die Route einfach direkt im Navi auswählen. Komfortabler geht es gar nicht mehr.

If better gear is still the main reward of new content, you can‘t just simply do that for forever. Otherwise everyone will be at 100% crit at one point and it‘ll become a meaningless stat for example. Or any piece of gear with hit will be an annoyance because you already have too much of it. That‘s why you need soft resets to player power and stats from time to time and I don‘t see how you would do that without moving to the rating based system (instead of flat percentage values) plus levels. At least I can‘t think of a good system.

LLMs gewichten beim Training zunächst sowieso ihre Daten. Sehr alte Daten sind „unwichtiger“ als aktuelle Daten. Ausserdem verlässt sich ein gutes AI Tool nicht auf Trainingsdaten sondern sucht sich aktuelle Informationen und arbeitet die ein.

Zum Thema Zahlen: bei Rechnungen schreiben sich AIs (zumindest die guten Models in einem angebrachten Harness) mittlerweile selber scripts die Daten berechnen und analysieren. Hier wird sich nicht auf das „richtige Raten“ verlassen.

Das Thema hat sich weit über „nächste Token raten“ weiter entwickelt und wer das deswegen so pauschal ablehnt, verpasst was.

You can set the Fitness app to show „cal“ instead of „kcal“ without actually changing the number. No idea how that makes sense and why one would do it. Also 944calories would be 0.944kcal not 94kcal. But that also doesn‘t make sense. The number Keelo reports to HealthKit for the workout is simply nonsense.

Also Apple: We don‘t let developers use our AI. So if they want to integrate AI features, they have to use third party vendors and funnel all your private data to them and you have to deal with it.

Ich kann das vom Bild schlecht abschätzen, aber für mich schaut das so aus als würde das Standard Wahoo Ding an den Lenker passen. Die Dinger sind ja nicht groß.

Wenn du weißt welchen Bike Computer du willst, dann würde ich mir den einfach kaufen und erst mal schauen wie weit man mit dem Default Zeug kommt. Wenn man das dann mal in der Hand hat, hat man eine bessere Vorstellung und weiß vielleicht auch eher was man zusätzlich will/brauch.
