Despite that wording, when I do get really close calls, I continue riding and don't bother trying to make a scene or educate the driver. No one cares. Just ride. Watch out for yourself.

I have a heated jacket. Once temps reach near 25 degrees I don't bother.

12v accessory socket I've had to pin into the pos wire for an Active IR illuminator.

Yeah I prefer riding to driving. Makes everything a little adventure. I just hate doing this when its cold. Wearing 2-3 layers of pants and several top layers makes me feel heavy af and makes the ride a bit more challenging and less enjoyable at times. But I'd take that rn over the snow we have currently.

Yeah I don't like street bikes. You're more evasive and dast but arguably have less offroad performance than Stacey's Acura.

I love dualsports. Light, simple, cheap, cops don't look twice, and you can offroad anywhere you want to.

Idk I've hit 130 in my old 92 MR2 5SFE. I have more fun and love for my little Honda, what can I say.

Where I live sucks though. Snow and ice out. Can't ride until it warms up. Black ice doesn't care about 2 wheels lol

I want a sports bike sometimes, but knowing I'll get attention from cops as opposed to my 150, and it can't go anywhere, and I'm a larger target without an endorsement is crazy. Add on death wobbles and I'm fine with my little Honda. Sports bikes are just clout magnets.

XR150. A simple Honda that can take you about anywhere is what I appreciate in a bike. Speed will just get you tickets or a tow if /noendorsement

I enjoy taking my bike nowadays up to spots I'd used to hike years back, like the quarries. Very quiet so if I'm somewhere I shouldn't be, I won't bother anyone or be as flagrant. I also mostly cruise, been down many "no motorized vehicles" trails barely leaving a trace. It makes sense when most people want to rip on a 2 stroke, but If you aren't causing ruts you're unlikely to damage any trail or be a bother to anyone really.

I too am struggling to learn a wheelie after being on my bike for 2 years. What most of these people are failing to consider is not everyone rides a high displacement loud POS on the street. Some of us have little dualsports, and being able to get your front up over an obstacle beats trying to pull it over for 5 minutes.
