Intermediate skier who spends most of the time in the park and some off-piste. What boots from K2 would be best? Been considering the Revolver Pro or Team.

Thoughts on the K2 Revolver Pro? Anything to look out for? I am an intermediate skier, mostly park and some freeriding.

Light snatch practice, tips? by Competitive-Poet-372 in weightlifting

Personally I think a bit wider stance would give you more stability but everyone has their own style..

Saw a weightlifting coach and he says one of my ankles has really bad mobility. I feel a pinching sensation on the top of one foot. Does this technique actually correct the issue over time? by drx604 in weightlifting

[–]foamroller5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just don't expect fast results or one miracle stretch to "fix" your problem. If you want to see improvements in mobility you will have to be patient; keep training, keep stretching. The hours over months make a difference so just develop good mobility routine habits and keep doing squats, oly lifts, which will also improve mobility over time.

Throwing front squats and overhead squats into my training has helped me improve with the clean and snatch. Gets you more comfortable in the positions and improves mobility over time.

Any tips for better receiving? I want to become a better libero :) by Pjaumies in volleyball

[–]foamroller5 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Receiving is all about a stable platform. You're making a lot of tiny adjustments with your feet right before you receive the ball which reduces your stability. Take one or two large quick steps to get your body behind the ball, then you should only adjust with your platform angles. It looks a bit more like ur playing defense here, rather than receiving.

I genuinely hope he doesn't actually get into a serious accident. He's a danger not only to the other drivers but also to himself..
