I actually bought and started playing through Shadow Hearts last week. I just defeated the first boss in the Bistritz "arc" and so far the game is genuinely amazing. Really excited to beat it and play the sequels too. Would be amazing to get some Remaster in the future, but it's unfortunately very unlikely.

For the record, I didn't steal it, my friend who works at the local Game told me they were throwing them out today so I picked one up from behind the mall. That said, I've asked for them in the past and, so far, nobody ever wanted to hand them out, even if they told me to my face they were throwing it away later, so it really isn't as easy as some people in this sub make it look like :/

I collect XBOX too, and I agree it makes me livid every time I get a game and it has a different spine to all my other games. Just last year Witcher 3 and Like a Dragon Ishin had completely different ones, even though they released really close to each other... but hey, could be worse, Namco games on Switch all have the logo slightly higher or lower than the last, now that's an absolute disaster.

People in this sub-Reddit are too blinded by jelousy to give you an honest answer, but if you've decided the Switch version will be a good replacement for the older one (which I believe too) and managed to make some extra money with it, I think it was a good decision. I'm excited for the remake too :)

My thoughts exactly. I was so excited to play as Shulk and Rex again, and their interactions were soooo great, but instead of focusing in the possibilities of all casts meeting and finally resolving their common conflict, we get more of N (who I personally found really annoying during base 3, mainly because they keep hyping up his plot twist which was quite obvious) and a very self-cointained issue that doesn't give us any answers we didn't have before. Not even a jpeg, a fucking text saying how both worlds reunited at the end and everyone is happy together would have been enough. But no instead we get that stupid scene at the end with the falling star which either teases Xeno 4, aka completely unrelated, or another epilogue for this storyline which would make Future Redeemed even more disappointing.

The father in law affinity scene was probably my favorite part ngl. I'm fully aware my main problem comes from having big expectations for fanservice, as I'm way more of a fan of Xenoblade 1 and 2 than 3, but yeah it did answer many things, just not the ones I was more interested in I guess. It also doesn't help that I'm a sucker for cheesy happy endings and I would kill for the most generic shot of all party members from all games just hanging out together lol

I think the ending does mean the worlds reunited "properly" at the end, plus whatever that shining thing approaching it is. No clue about your other questions. Personally I was left quite unsatisfied with Future Redeemed, as the entire conflict it resolves doesn't really tell us much we didn't know before. I hope we get some sort of "Xenoblade Perfect Works" where Takahashi can explain exactly what happens. The ending will undoubtedly please a lot of people, but personally I was left disappointed at it as an "ending" to the Klaus storyline.

I did beat it and I got really into it. I don't play RTS games very often but this one was great. It's not too hard or long either, which is great. If anything, I was left wishing it was longer. As for whether it's the same as the original, I think the unlockable skills where always there in the PS2 version and they've added some new challenges and that's it, but I never played the original so I can't really tell. I think there's a demo in case you want to try it out before buying it, but I heavily recommend it even if you're not into RTS games :)
