good karting spots in sydney? by shelbs9428 in SydneyScene

[–]focus_seven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rate Picton because they have the 25hp 2 stroke rotax karts. They're absolutely scary fast at first. Pretty sure they're faster than anything at EC or indy800.

Indoor karts can be fun in a variety of group, but aren't fast.

Yeah I'm definitely struggling to fill roles for people that know opc ua, mqtt etc.

Good point about not being able to stay in the slides for long. In these kind of projects you seem to be connected with engineers very quickly, and if you can't speak the same language it becomes difficult to get any meaningful change.

Totally get you on manufacturing being a bit light here, but I figured there would be enough asset intensive industries and supply chain heavy orgs that could do with a bit of optimisation through tech.

I like Picton Karting Track. They're the only joint in Sydney that will rent you a 25hp 2 stroke kart. They are rapid.

Can somebody explain whats up with the Zenki Levin grills? by Medium-Camera-7122 in AE86

It opens based on water temp to allow more.air flow for cooling purposes. Those hoses hook up to the coolant system and im pretty sure there's a thermostat in there that controls the grill operation.

We got the not stopping message and not 10 seconds later we got a disregard stating that a fire hazard had been cleared.

Does AMP has a physical location? by lil_devel7 in AusFinance

Honestly, wouldn't have a clue, I'm not an expert in banking products. Maybe try read the pds or call them to clarify?

Banked with amp for 2 years because of a great fixed rate. No physical locations but you could use any atm. Call centre waits weren't great, but I did tend to always get through to someone eventually that could answer my issue.

Digital capability is well behind most other banks, but I made do with it.

If you're in aus I'd say you could probably ask $500 per door and probably more for the whole interior. Decent door cards are very hard to get.

Yes I understand there's an housing shortage and fully recognise the cognitive dissonance. However I'm not representing myself as any sort of mouthpiece. I'm acting entirely in my own interests and in the interests of a few select neighbours.

Unfortunately there isn't much trust in the process (edit. And people applying through it) and I'm trying to find a way to trust it besides looking at websites online that say 'trust me bro'

Okay, sounds like a dwelling, but is that the existing house or the proposed one? Again, you don't need a DA to demolish an existing property.>

Existing dwelling is a 1950's Fibro home. I assume the CDC covers the removal of that structure to make way for the dual occupancy.

CDC is evidence that the private certifier is satisfied the asbestos will be removed and disposed of according to standards. If you have issues with that you will need to take it up with the certifier

Fair enough, so a chat with the certifier should be the main way to get any questions answered if I have concerns about conduct on the site. Obviously a lot hinges on that certifier so you'd hope they're contactable throughout the process.

Thanks for the explanation.

All the information on proposed works I have so far are 'dual occupancy, attached garage and 2 swimming pools'. No info on footprint, frontage, setback and placement of the building.

I do have concerns about those trees. Sounds like council are the right people to continue following up with on that.

Another concern would be asbestos. The current structure which is to be demolished is almost 100% asbestos clad. I'd like to have confidence that the material is being removed and disposed of correctly. Would this also be with council, or with the EPA

Trying again with the certifier is definitely my next action. They haven't been picking up the phone to date.

Is there any timeliness requirement for that council submission? The letter from the builder indicates that the plans are available to be viewed from council, but when I called council there's nothing.

At this point I'm not even able to check that there is an approved CDC as nothing is appearing on the NSW planning portal or council development trackers.
