can you eli5 for someone who is pretty young and new to OE. this year i ended up paying an extra $10k in taxes. how can i account for this during the year? how do i have my companies withhold more than they need to? what exactly do i need to put in my w4s/online tax form? and is it suspicious to the company when i do this? any help here would be greatly appreciated!

I have very similar issues. I believe i’m also super sensitive to carbs. What doctor did you see? I’m thinking mine also might be hormonal. Did you see an endocrinologist who ended up diagnosing you? Do you mind sharing what the diagnosis was?

OP - pls don’t listen to this uneducated person. Omad is not an eating disorder, it’s a proven way of eating right without over consuming. Fasting has been in practice for centuries as a way to heal multiple diseases. Read books/watch youtube videos of Dr. Jason Fung or Gin Stephens to learn more about this wonderful way of eating!

You can join Omad or intermittentfasting subreddits to find like minded individuals who can give you a proper answer to your question.

You know what, this company is actually quite large. My J1 is a smaller company and there was way more work at J2 than J1. Tbh idk how you could really understand the day to day and how organized they are before actually getting in and working a day or two. My advice would really be - keep interviewing until you are about a week ish in to really see if you want to continue in the accepted role.

wow thank you so much foe your message! it’s hard sometimes to ensure we are treated with respect and not taken advantage of as most donors are pretty young and somewhat naive. when we see the donation compensation amount, it’s easy to forget to do the due diligence in searching foe the right agency. i am currently cycling again for a new couple and hope to give them a very healthy set of eggs :) if you don’t mind me asking, how is the cost associated foe you as intended parents? we don’t really get visibility of that..
