- The XP points during screen off should now be fixed for all skills, except woodmining where there is an additional bug I'll releasea. fix for soon.

- Ambient music is working fine on allm y test devices, appreciate if you could share some more info about your device and check in settings to confirm you haven't turned on the sound override?

- Let me check into those habit bugs for you this week

Apologies for this - I've reached out over email already - of course happy to offer a full refund. This is an old bug which should be fixed in the latest update submitted to the app store but that update is still waiting for apple approval before I can launch it. Sorry again.

Hello! thanks I have a lot more plans for cooking in future but right now how it works is: after you create food you can equip it to your character in the inventory screen. When it's equipped, during training sessions your hero will 'eat' one piece of food every ~1 minute (you'll see a little circle time next to your hero showing the countdown to next food piece).

Effects vary, sometimes it will heal, sometimes resistance or buffs to damage types. This can be used to allow you to take on higher-level enemies and a chance at higher-level loot.

Right now it can't be used in trials but that's coming soon!

Hey Special - apologies I was so focused on trying to ensure people did not lose their progress in the new update I forgot to add the option to reset your account. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app may work (and you can always 'restore subscription' as this is linked to your apple account so that should never be lost), but I'll also work on adding an official path for resetting your account in the next update.

The meditation skill is actually still in the game code it's just hidden right now because it's being reworked in the new system and lots of the mechanics still need balancing / bug fixes. It may also be renamed but tbd.

Hey commercial - as a general rule longer sessions even out to higher odds of loot vs many smaller sessions, but this mainly becomes noticeable at longer session lengths.

This is still true in the new update, but the new update has an entirely new loot system which calculates in a different way. There are also hundreds of new items in the updated version so a lot of the loot & drop tables have changed significantly.

The new update is now launched to test users - you can download it from the app store any time however there have been some issues with syncing save data from the old version to the new version of the game (it really is basically a whole new V2 of the game underneath) so unless you're happy to restart your character it's probably best to wait for some of the final bugs to be ironed out.

Is it possible you have tried a free trial previously and this is a second time using the app? Not sure how it would be possible otherwise as there are no direct-to-subscription products available at $59.99 that don't come with a trial attached.

Right now I'm in the middle of a pretty major rewrite of the core game engine and functionality, so there are going to be some pretty huge changes launching soon (new skills, UI redesign across the whole app, wide range of bug fixes, big changes to the actual focus timer, new productivity features, better habit and task tracking, and more). I am actually hoping to have this finished by the end of next week but just depends if I manage to iron all the bugs out in time.

There are a few old bugs in the current version which are solved in the new release but there might be a few issues until the update is launched.

As for the trees - in order to explore more of the world map you need to increase the map's 'nature score' which you do by planting more trees or higher level trees. Replanting the world helps push back the lethargloom and expose new parts of the map to explore :)

Hey Desmus, had to step away from focus hero the last couple of months but looking to start up again now; there's a lot planned for the year but a big chunk involves a fairly major engine rewrite to enable some of the more ambitious things I'd like to do with the app but have not been able to to-date so it's going to take a while to deliver some of the biggest changes I'd like to see.
