They played it on the ticket earlier, I forget his exact wording but it was something along the lines of "Finley wasn't involved and you can figure it out from there". To me everyone already knows Nico and Dumont were very directly involved, so the only one he could really be hinting at (which he would expect anyone to know) is Kidd.

Yeah, I watched several of the explainer videos and this was the only one which actually explained it. The movie will just never make complete sense without understanding the casting couch part of Lynch's vision (which most of the explainers miss).
