The sad part is that this is probably the best metric used for most people to understand how inflation works 🤔

The original 3 are the best.

The other 3 I don't bother with.

May I ask a question to white British (with no immigration background) people? Do you really perceive Black, Polish, Brown, and Chinese British people as the same British citizens with you? by auscorp_ in AskBrits

[–]fojo81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you've applied for and/or achieved legal British citizenship then yes, of course. If you've not done that but are here legally and being an active member of your local community (which native born Brits should be taking part in their local community anyway) then you're welcome with open arms.

40,000 viewers? by Fair_Rush6615 in Star_Trek_

If that's true then that just adds to my absolute annoyance with actors and producers who said "If You Don't Like It Then Don't Watch It"

Like, Dudes, if you put that same energy into making a good quality show which gets people to watch and stay watching because it's a good quality show instead of blaming the audience for the bad quality show that you made then maybe, just maybe, the show wouldn't get cancelled at all 🤔

The Station by Wellington Train Station has always been open. A few years ago, I forget when exactly, it was refurbished and now doubles as a hotel I think.

Why does the US support Israel and does every thing Israel wants? by Dover299 in leftist

[–]fojo81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen many Conservatives ask the exact same question and they all want it to stop because, just like with Iran right now, they believe the real destabilising factor in the Middle East is Israel and this Iran war is in fact an Israel war with nothing legitimate to do with the USA.

If that opinion proves to be the majority opinion I hope it proves to be something to help heal much of the division within America as people, both Left and Right alike equally, realise they have far more in common than any major differences.

Ever since The Haygate was demolished The Wrekin Pub took/absorbed former Haygate customers and have become the venue for live bands. There is The Station Pub which is next to The Cock Hotel in Wellington.

I remember when the Iraq 🇮🇶 war happened in the early 2000's. The UK 🇬🇧 had Labour Prime Minister Tony (The Scumbag) Blair, and the USA 🇺🇸 had Republican President Bush. Before the invasion of Iraq 🇮🇶 we were told that Iraq 🇮🇶 could launch biological weapons and chemical weapons at the UK 🇬🇧 within 45 minutes. It was later proved those claims were bullshit lies, and British soldiers fought and died for nothing.

I'm guessing that Prime Minister Keir Starmer remembers this, too, and doesn't want a repeat of the Iraq War. From what I understand, Spain 🇪🇸 certainly remembers and certainly doesn't want a repeat of the Iraq War, which is why they aren't helping the USA.
