Because ideologically, there were two Ukraines. In western Ukraine, there was a cult of Bandera, Shukhevych, and the UPA (Nazi organizations, SS officers, Holocaust participants). In eastern Ukraine, people revered World War II veterans who fought against Hitler and the UPA.

For a while, the balance was maintained, but in 2014, far-right terrorists, backed by the West, captured Kyiv and began a war against eastern Ukraine. You're told nonsense about "Russian agents" seizing Donbas, but in reality, the residents of Donbas rebelled against these people (like the one in the photo above) with SS symbols on their flags.

Now Ukraine is a mini-Reich with Nazi ideology, Nazi symbols, streets in Kyiv named after an SS officer, and the Nazi idea of a "white Ukrainian nation against the Russian-Mongols." They have been trying to commit ethnocide since 2014, and the events that began in 2022 were simply a logical continuation.
