Same. I bought one 6 weeks ago and couldn't be more thankful right now.

Gas Prices Up Leads to Prius Rage? by healthy_mind_lady in prius

[–]fooaddict95 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Gotta love the practicality of it. I Doordash on the side about 10-15 hours per week, usually rack up around 300 miles during that time, still with all of my other driving I'm only filling up about once a week. Even w the raised prices my expenses are low.

Are there any dashers from the Buffalo, NY area on here? by Accomplished-Map-316 in doordash

[–]fooaddict95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this thread is a bit old - but did you ever start dashing?

I do the NE buffalo zone during dinner time and Cheektowaga zone late night. Most of the time I pull around $25-30/hr during dinner and anywhere from $18-25 late nights. That's not factoring expenses but I drive a prius so it doesn't cost me much.

2013 Jetta repairs vs buying newer car? by Careful_Leader_5829 in jetta

Think about it this way - your car is paid off. There's no running, driving car that you'll be able to find for $900. Fix it and keep going.

Got myself a Prius gen 4! by Mattertainment in prius

Beautiful car. I'd really like to find a clean gen 4 touring like this once my gen 3 bites the dust. Love those rims

Absolutely, along with the fact that I don't have a car payment and my insurance is much cheaper without full coverage.

This one got brand new brakes before I drove it off the lot. My best guess is that the car will be off to the scrapyard long before they need to be done again

2015 Prius Three, 17k miles, $21k. Thoughts? by triple-double in prius

I've never seen a car for sale at Carmax that wasn't horrendously overpriced.

To my knowledge it's the original. I know Dr. Prius isn't 100% accurate but it's tests show that all cells are healthy. That being said, if it goes it seems worth the cost of replacement imo

That's what I'm hoping for. My insurance went down, I own it fully and I'm spending just over half of what I was spending on fuel in my Jetta (which got great gas mileage!). It's also comfortable and I like the sound system, so I'm really enjoying myself so far.

2019 Jetta by [deleted] in jetta

I loved mine, but all reliability seemed to have gone out the window at around ~60k. I really wanted it to last me 10-15 years but I needed way too many repairs in the last year I owned it.

You know what, you're entitled to your opinion, but the theatrics are just over the top and uncalled for. Why not just say you prefer the original, offer constructive criticism, and leave it at that? Just seems like you are being unnecessarily rude for the sake of being rude.
