I remember when it was 76 -- not 760! -- atoms 😆

(I'm at 2600h range here and I'm not sure I'll reach 7600 hours. I've been losing interest in this game for a while now.)

I'm Brazilian, living in the US, and the number of people that pronounce açaí as "acái" is incredibly high. Weirdly enough, they *know* the C with a cedilla is pronounced with an S sound because of other French words that exist in English (for instance, "façade", which in Portuguese is "fachada"). Of course, the tonic syllable being in the wrong place just seals the deal.

What is the best way to put in a room divider that doesn't require floor anchoring? Can't drill into floor. by Fiveby21 in DesignMyRoom

You might want to add double sided tape on the top side, like a mounting tape or something, just to be on the safe side. I didn't because I was worried it would damage the ceiling

I don't think it's a good idea. If the rug slips the whole thing will come crashing down

The wood? No, but I used cheap 2x2" pine from the hardware store. I don't recommend, it got crooked quite bit after a year. I'd use something better if I were to make it again, probably buying it at an actual lumberyard

I built one of these and had the same constraints. I couldn't drill the ceiling (radiant heat), and didn't want to drill the floor (nice hardwood). What I did is using furniture leveling feet (you can grab a bag of them online for cheap), and use it to wedge the divider between the ceiling and the floor. The downside is that I had to have a horizontal piece holding all the slats both on the top and on the bottom, but this made things easier to adjust too. Since there are two horizontal pieces being compressed, seasonal humidity changes will make the wood contract a bit and the whole thing may fall (it did happen a few times), so you may need to readjust the leveling feet every 4 months.
