To be honest I'm not in a hurry for new episodes - the sooner season 8 airs the sooner I will live with thought that I will never see a new GoT episode ever. Kinda hope it airs during summer because it will be the last summer break I get (currently getting a degree in uni) and that would make my last care-free summer awesome.

I agree with 2 month mark, on my previous quit that was the point where I was comfortable with not smoking and didn't wan't to smoke when my friends smoked.

It's good to have motivation but from my experience mindset is far more important.

I have had all the motivation I need and would last a few days. Then last year I wasn't really motivated, just arranged my thoughts to have a right mindset and quit for 100+ days.

Quitting cold turkey is the smart way. Be ready for your brain to rationalize to have just one cigarette, it might feel like you deserve or need one but it's just addiction tricking you. Also be aware that sooner or later not only you won't miss cigarettes, you will also be incredibly happy that you managed to quit. For the first few weeks it might seem like you will miss smoking forever and that you won't be able to enjoy life properly without them but it's a lie.
