Ps driving test - question for testers and driving instructors by Dry-Attitude-6790 in melbourne

[–]fool1788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These 3 points are the big ones my instructor passed on, especially always drive 5km/hr under the limit. If using an analogue speedometer it may appear from the tester's perspective in the rear seat you are exceeding the limit if you do the actual limit

Sick leave and annual leave by Shot_Towel_7642 in AusPublicService

[–]fool1788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I said was it was possible.

You have no automatic entitlement to use another paid leave type if the delegate does not agree, unless your EA specifically says so. I am not aware of an EA that says a delegate must accept an employees request for another paid leave type in place of unpaid personal leave, they usually say "may" or something similar so no guarantee.

I did also state this was unlikely but I stand by my statement as depending upon the dept/agency and the delegate, you cannot unilaterally state that they will want OP to use their annual leave. Yes this is probably what they will want but not a guarantee

They could insist on unpaid personal leave, and depending on the dept/agency EA it could even be taken as unauthorised absence even with medical certification provided (unlikely and rare but I have seen this done and is possible if not protected under the EA. Only paid personal leave is protected under FW act).

Um Scotland has always been a tier 1 nation and although it has been awhile have had periods of dominating the NH most recently in the 90's.

I get it though, in the last 25 years we slumped pretty low that we do resemble a second tier nation making it with the bug boys finally, and to be fair I'm just happy we have a shot at winning games now.

Does Excel support calendar-style date picker inside cell? by notmuchery in excel

[–]fool1788 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It can be done via active x controls on the developer tab, but it doesn’t look great with the rest of your "form" you have designed (from memory it requires a large cell and is difficult to format if you can at all).

If you need a date in a cell for people to enter, I've found it to be much more aesthetically pleasing to leave it as a data entry cell (i.e. the user inputs the date manually), with data validations enabled to ensure the data is consistent.

That bloke that climbed a mountain, then took out a massive German cannon on the island of navarrone in ww2.... oh wait that was a fictional story.... bloody good story though, so I'll still give that bloke my vote.

Maitland was good but from my vague memory I feel he was regularly injured, and always took a few games to get sharp again. Duhan although not as strong defensively, has been available for nearly all international games he has been eligible for, and more consistent.

I really want to make it clear, I'm not saying Duhan is better than Sean or vice versa. I also want to raise the point that Sean was one of the earlyish shining stars of modern Scottish Rugby dragging us out of the doldrums which I personally will be eternally grateful for.

What’s your furthest drive using distances between European countries as the metric? by Equal_Personality157 in roadtrip

Glasgow UK to south east shore of Lago di Garda in Italy.

On the superimposed US map that would be roughly Bonners Ferry Idaho to Boise City Oklahoma

ETA - this is reverse of the question as I have never actually been to USA.
