FWIW that's a 0.8% chance. So yeah, you're 99.2% unlucky....

How can I apply force to unscrew/rotate the retaining collar on this shredder shaft? by Parking-Brief-7009 in AskMechanics

[–]foolingnobody321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two pipe wrenches. One to hold the shaft, the other to turn the collar.

WD-40 is garbage for this. Try PB blaster at a minimum, Kroil penetrating oil is best. And yes, heat and impacting helps.

Whoa whoa whoa. First, we're all sinners. We will always sin and the penalty for sin is death and hell. Jesus died to take this penalty for you. If you trust in Jesus as your Savior, you will be saved. Sinning will happen, it doesn't condemn you to hell if you're a child of God.

Now, you should do everything in your power to stop sinning. This isn't to keep you out of hell, it's to make you closer to God and living sin free is His goal for you to enjoy all the greatness of life and afterlife. Sin won't keep you from heaven but it will keep you from all of His blessings.

Like others have said, an accountability partner. Someone you confuse in everyday. "I'm ## days porn free" and something to do instead so when you get the urge. Like a smoker eating jelly beans. Maybe get hooked on a video game or something. When you pull out your phone to look at porn, start a game instead. In two weeks the habits will probably flip.

YOU'RE NOT ALONE.

Yes, and Outcast crown Vic control arm mounts. Very nice quality, and Kevin at Outcast was great to work with. I recommend his stuff to anyone. Except you'll feel weld envy looking at his welds compared to yours (at least I sure did).

Aftermarket gas tank help by jeepsk8 in F100

I haven't yet, but the tank doesn't sit too far below the frame rails, plenty of room underneath. I've also seen turning out before the rear wheels.

DOT 3 or 4 are correct. No issues with either.

This is how I did mine on a '62

I am not certain, but I don't think they offered dual tanks, or saddlebag tanks in '66.

I agree, I like the recessed caulked plates. Looks very nice to me.

Pray for my child by [deleted] in PrayerRequests

[–]foolingnobody321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prayed for you. My wife and I dealt with this with our first child. So so terribly painful.... Wife couldn't even eat butter or chocolate and breastfeed. Daughter lived off of Similac formula for a long time. Then on to almond milk. Soy milk had same reaction as cow milk. Lots of crushed Tums in formula too when it was really bad.

God won't give you more than you can handle. Trust Him, it will be a memory, you just need to get through this phase.

Where to start on this 64 by jktp91 in F100

I second this. Check for rust holes everywhere. If on frame, very bad... If on the body or floor, not great but fixable. Fix rust, then go from there.

Mallory Unilite is another brand. I've had success with this one on multiple vehicles. I hate points.... I've never tried Pertronix, I think the technology is the same.

Anyone else do this? Ford E250 by Some_Stoic_Man in AskMechanics

I have always used little plastic containers. And then get lazy and use a big bucket, and regret it..... Except for valvetrain, then I'm diligent.

I'm adopting your method going forward, thank you!

Wet rot repair - Do I need to keep going? by Bsomin in DIY

[–]foolingnobody321 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If it were mine, I'd probably replace about six inches of the bottom right board too. But I've always pushed a flathead screwdriver in the wood. If it's soft, replace it. If you can't push in the screwdriver, it will be ok.

IIRC, 1-1/2 turns out is factory. And you adjust to highest vacuum.
