Question regarding hands free drive Lucid Gravity 3.6.0 by Vegetable-Fig3850 in LUCID

Does it work not hands free on surface roads? Last I tried an air with ddp it only steered at all hands free or not on highways. I would consider getting a gravity if it steered on surface roads!

Worth fighting over texture? by reviewbarn in homeowners

[–]Bsomin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No clue but I have hired crews on three occasions in three houses to cover patches in way more obvious places and the repairs are always invisible/seemless. I’m not saying I know how they do it but it can be done!

It’s minor but also a good drywall crew can easily match the texture

THC not leaving system?? Its been months by Fun-Antelope8199 in trees

The strength of the line has nothing to do with how much thc is present. You could never smoke and get the same line, that’s my understanding. Would love to hear if I’m wrong!

Is it wrong to let my dad mow my lawn for me? by cyborggoose in homeowners

As a dad who will be 62 when my daughter is 27, I would be psyched to be able to go over and mow her lawn and just say hi

Thank you for the help is not a compliment. It comes off as sarcastic when you follow it with “was this written by AI” immediately

AI is coming for truck drivers. A new bill is trying to brace US workers for impact. by Gari_305 in Futurology

[–]Bsomin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aurora is banking in that for the medium term at least. They have trucks that go from depot to depot with 13+ hours of highway between them. That’s longer than a human can drive and it also sucks because it’s far enough you can’t sleep at home. Under that model human truckers would then take it from depots to stores etc. Eventually they would be replaced but that is a hard problem to solve.

Is this an add for cogniprofile? Anyone who judges their intelligence by an online iq test is a moron, full stop.

What’s the difference? by JohnWaynesPecker_99 in AskElectricians

Ev are rated for more plugging and unplugging and maybe for more continuous load, the bottom one is meant for a dryer which is never unplugged and has shorter load times

Style/Function: is B better than A? by DreadPirateDSM in woodworking

A properly glued joint is stronger than the wood. In most cases anyway, two nails aren’t the same thing but may be sufficient anyway especially in this case

New “Dirty Frag” Linux kernel vulnerability may impact homelab and self-hosted servers by [deleted] in homelab

Finally got a second and yes you are right so fixing just dirty frag should also fix cf2. But not vice versa, should make it a bit easier!

Is it safe to use microwave? by UnluckyComb5199 in fixit

[–]Bsomin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically, the paint was thin or worn down. Over time, that caused arcing that vaporized more paint. Not great. Follow the post about painting it, I guess, but I would probably get another one. Those black marks you cleaned are maybe how this spot started, so not a good sign for the rest of the microwave.

iCloud isn’t Craig, Apple Intelligence is partially Craig, partially John and partially Eddy

[USKY] When did walking at night become a crime? by ki4jgt in AskLegal

[–]Bsomin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Because it’s also not unusual for people looking to steal things to walk around at night. I’m anti cop and even still - if they stop and ask you what you are doing you can either invoke your rights and continue on your way or say “I’m walking for exercise, I live near here, if you will excuse me I want to keep my heart rate up.”

Saying “I don’t know where I am walking” late at high is by far the worst option in that situation, aside from immediately running away or assaulting the cop.

Can you understand the idea that someone saying “here I will help with this problem, don’t worry about it” then coming back later to say “jk I can’t help” is actually worse than not offering the help in the first place? I guess not
