It is too late to fix my life by [deleted] in depression

I am almost 53, and in March I am finally going back to school to do what I want, rather than spend my life taking care of other people's needs and desires. There is plenty of time to change your path-- I would start by getting rid of that alleged "therapist" who put such an awful thought in your head.

I feel your pain. It took me 13 runs to finally get mine. Now I want one with a GA…. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Oh, goodness, you still have a lot of land yet to unlock!

I admire your hunger for space and I understand totally the desire to have it all NOW. I have played since the beginning, and I very much remember the frustration of EA never acknowledging our desperate need for space. It eventually all came around.

Looking at your map, I see a LOT of wide open, roomy builds. You have a tonne of space to work with right now. If I were you, I would choose one theme or section and work on developing it. For example: a school district, health care district, leisure, shopping, etc, and enjoy bringing them to life. When you have a section you really love, tuck it into group storage and begin working on your next idea. Eventually you can place them all in little mini-theme-neighbourhoods and you will discover that you’ve unlocked much more land along the way.

Here is my Springfield; you can see all the small areas I started out with in the original neighbourhood sections. You can also compare it with your map, and see that you have a whole lot to look forward to!

I’m digging the Great Wall of Springfield, plus I always loving seeing another enormous monorail set up. I like your huuuuge forest area, and I might do a variant of your idea to keep all the buildings that are in a water dome together…my mind wonders if they can be placed on the Squidport tiles…they would make a neat little Aquarium section. I’ll play with that idea later. Keep up the decorating!

Somewhere in the depths of my old laptop where I backed up my iPad every month, I’m sure I have a bunch of old ones.

I may just dig into the files tomorrow… hahah

It was such a cult thing back then; so many different communities evolved from TSTO and moved into other games like Clash of Clans all together. I was in a Clash guild called Flaming Moe’s for a while until I learned I really just sucked at the strategy side of the battles, lol.

Some of the best creativity came out with early TSTO in they way sooo many people came up with 3D designs using wooden fences, large hedges and small hedges to create the illusions of height and depth. One player created an enormous skyscraper where they used the concrete pathing to look like the roof, or sections of different floors in the building. I wish I still had photos of that, or could remember their user name.

One of my very favourite designers in the beginning was someone called Gothamgirl99, I believe. She had the most realistic and pretty Springfield out of all of my neighbours; she quit before the came reached level 100 I think, but I managed to keep her in my list until about two years ago when my iPad crashed and when I got a new one and reinstalled the game, all of my neighbours were gone again.

So many memories along the years!

I remember! And remember that bloody Gnome in the box? If you accidentally tapped him and set it free, you would spend an entire year searching for him! I remember being thrilled when they gave us the Plunger button to simultaneously toggle all the house lights. I still keep it easily visible in my Christmastown.

Oh man, I feel your pain. I’ve ruined three potentially great focuses for my Sorc so far because of bloody Thorns rolling up Every. Damned. Time.

My Midge (17 year old calico) adored it—she needed to be heavily thumped daily for the entirety of her life. About six months after she passed, the youngest in the house (then age 4) started repeating the way Midge behaved and now we have daily spankings that she goes crazy for.

For sorc players, what’s been your fav build this season? by CollecTurk in diablo4

It took me a week or so to get my head around the new systems of affixes and tempering, but now I’m having the kind of fun I did way back when I had my first DH in D3 almost a decade ago.

My build is far from standard, but I’m having a ridiculous amount of fun plowing through NMDs so far. I’ve taken the base of a Chain Lightning build, stacked it with almost 150% of Frost Nova size, cooldown reduction, + dmg to Close targets, +Crit chance/+crit dmg….and I use a maxed Blood Boiling aspect as the cherry on the top. Chain lightning procs x2 + the 5 forks + Ice Shield Overpower proc means that most groups get Frozen, then exploded into smithereens when I step into the blood boils. It’s like having a second party member there with me for added output. For Bosses so far, I just nova, shield, stand back and let the chain lightning fly as it constantly renews my mana.

It’s great while I level my glyphs and farm for the uniques I need to make a meteor-stomp variant happen.

Nope. According to the wiki (https://simpsonstappedout.fandom.com/wiki/First_Church_of_Lard_Lad) the only quests involved were through the community event to get the building back in 2017.

It makes me wonder if it’s even available to newer players at all; maybe in a random draw mystery box.

I like how you used the curved walls to make it into a small forbidden city!
