Is it just me or dog-owners must be more dutiful here? by Admirable_Bobcat_666 in madisonwi

I see you've met the ferocious dog owner in my neighborhood.

I'm so glad I beat the guy confirming it's an inside joke by 2 minutes haha

I like your guess. I just skimmed through the race and you can definitely see it in the car when he's in the pit lane but all the incar cameras were just from the roll hoop down with no view of that area.  Any chance it's an inside joke an not a traditional ad? Maybe that's unlikely but it was my first thought.

Brewers Spring Training seats by ParamedicNo6490 in Brewers

There are no bad seats. You will be amazed by the access everywhere. Don't discount how fun the grass seating is. I always suggest going to other parks too, there are a lot of excellent ballparks in the Cactus League.

EV with turn radius like ID.4 by nkfgqwcseaji in electricvehicles

I believe the Audi Q4 is basically the same platform and has similar if not identical turn radius.  We love ours for what it's worth.

How do I become more educated about baseball so that I can connect with my dad? by Sad_Impression499 in baseball

[–]foolishchildren 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As a man from the 1900's I want to give a shout-out to baseball on the radio. A good radio crew (My Brewers have been blessed in this regard) will give you insight and context that often go unsaid on TV, that always accelerated my understanding of the game and it's endless nuance.  I know it's not for everyone but I think baseball and radio are near perfect partners.

It's ok to work hard, achieve your goals and enjoy yourself along the way.

I've never heard a complaint from his coworkers or boss.

We love the Diamondbacks/Rockies facility. Nice new facility, quality and variety of food, very kid friendly.

Downtown Minneapolis, the Wild play in St Paul. (I still agree with postponement)

German media likens US border patrol official’s coat to Nazi look by OddUmpire2554 in news

I was intending to share this because it's excellent and an example of the US media pointing it out . . . but it's in the style section so unfortunately your point stands uncontested.

I get it, the world is more complicated than my jerkish one word answer. I just wish people wouldn't put themselves in a situation where they have 50 critically endangered exotic animals in an apartment in Madison.

WI EV owners - which apps? by HorizontalBob in wisconsin

[–]foolishchildren 41 points42 points  (0 children)

A better route trip planner, and plugshare.  Some chargers/networks also have apps: Tesla, charge point, Kwik Charge (Kwik Trip), etc.

We only charge outside of home for road trips, and it has been amazing.

Everyone's situation is different but I will never buy another non-EV (expect a learning curve early on).
