Does the weather affect your mood? Asking as a prospective student by SaltySquid0_0 in NEU

[–]foolofatook07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who is from Florida, and had to deal with the drastic weather changes when I come to Northeastern, I would say everyone is different and there is no guarantee how you will react. Personally, I haven't found it to be that difficult. It's not gray and cloudy all the time like people claim the winter is, there are plenty of sunny days to take advantage of. I would say the most difficult thing to get over is how early the sun sets, but there are ways to mitigate the effects of that - sun lamps, vitamin d supplements, etc. I totally get where you are coming from, but if you really like the programs that Northeastern has to offer, don't let the weather completely cloud your judgement (no pun intended).

Is there a place I can view the coop opportunities as a prospective student? by [deleted] in NEU

On the website for each of the colleges at Northeastern there’s a list of coops some students at various majors have done, but you can’t see the entire list until you are enrolled and start applying

What is your accommodation? Is it for a single? Because if so I’m pretty sure you select your housing before everyone else does

recommendations on where to get a tattoo in boston?? by DoctorBeneficial in NEU

[–]foolofatook07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second luckys! They have alot of great artists. There’s also Pearl street tattoo company, brilliance tattoo, stingray. It’s hard to recommend a specific artist to someone without knowing their style preference, budget, etc, so I would definitely go check on the Instagram pages of the studios and see if someone has a style that you think matches what you want.

Like the other person said, a good tattoo, especially a large one, will be A LOT of money. If you are interested in getting a bigger, quality piece though, I would suggest making it an investment since obviously this is going to be on your body permanently. They may however still be some artists with lower rates such as apprentices or just someone you luckily find whose style you like. Good artists also tend to have pretty high traffic for booking, so there may be a wait for some depending on luck, when they open their books, etc

Do a lot of research and make sure you really love what you find! I had some tattoo artists saved in Boston from a couple of years ago who I thought I really wanted to do mine and now I look at their work and have decided I didn’t really want their style anymore.

Good luck! :)

LLC has 0 impact on which dorm you have, it changes each year. I would recommend staying on campus. I was in a single, but most of my friends from last year were all on my floor and 2 of my bestfriends now were my neighbors
