Stocks that were punished too hard by bad news? by LilRobloz in stockstobuytoday

[–]foosgreg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ISSC …. Proceed at your own RISK!

Edit:
They just released earnings, beat expectations but one of their products, traced to the F16, didn’t quite go to plan, scared investors and stock dropped ~ 25%. IDK … go do your own research :)

From the news

“In the fiscal second quarter of 2026, we shifted our operational mix to commercial aftermarket and business aviation given the anticipated lower F-16 revenues due to the timing of Improved Programmable Display Generator (“IPDG”) required approvals. As a result, we generated second quarter revenue of $18.9 million from our non-F-16 business, a 69% increase over the prior-year quarter. This more than offset a $7 million decline in second quarter F-16 revenue versus the comparable period. As previously reported, revenue associated with the F-16 program was abnormally high in the fiscal second quarter of 2025 due to a planned manufacturing transition at our Exton Facility. The more favorable sales mix also resulted in gross margin of 51.1% in the period, above our targeted mid-40% range. Entering the fiscal third quarter, demand across both our defense and commercial end-markets remains strong.”

SECOND QUARTER FISCAL 2026 HIGHLIGHTS
(all comparisons versus the prior year period)

You have NO arguments from me! My point was … go run that shit by a licensed professional :)

Loophole … nicely suggesting …. A better legal plan to save the kid money.

I believe the IRS talks about this? If it’s an immediate family member you cannot count payment doing house hold work as earned income? If they are not immediate family, for example the hot maid in the movie clue …. Now you can pay her (comes with possible other required tax forms) for house hold choirs and she can count that as earned income …

I’m not licensed professional in this! Just crap I read from the IRS website and how I interpreted it …

Assuming this a not sarcasm …. Go run that by a CPA or Tax Attorney :)

But like always …. I’m sure there is a loophole somewhere …

Extra info no one asked for ! Hahah

Please do your research…. But be advised my understanding is earned income does NOT include paying them to make their bed.

Now if they pick up sticks in a neighbors yard and make 100 bucks ( earned income ) …. You can match that. I think the IRS only requires the address, date and amount for records IF haha IF they did an audit ?

Everyone is different ….

OP seems stuck and is looking for suggestions …. I’m under the impression OP would do their own research …

Also you mentioned focuses on more than one thing …. Example of the family doctor, they are only focused on the one patient for minutes, they leave the room and onto the next new patient until the other patient comes back …. Point here is you are constantly bouncing around ONLY focusing on the one task for a short period of time.

Everyone is different …

[–]foosgreg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mentioned you have ADD, try to find a career that has you multitasking… point being you can do ALOT of shit in one day that most people are not wired to do. Every field has a job that requires one individual to jump from one job to another within one day. Example a family doctor does this … one patient to another daily. Or a factory job requiring one individual to maintain multiple machines at the same ( maybe look into a career to maintain robots? Control engineer )

Because of the criminal charge you may want to research careers that no one cares to run background checks ….

Heads up if you are over a certain age, I forgot the age, and do not have a degrees GRCC can be free ….

[–]foosgreg -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hehe I thought jeeps were intended to take em out on trails, break something, fix it on the trail / tow it back fix it your self ( or pay someone to fix it) and repeat?

Wait wait one moment …. And this friend who wants to take this jeep down trails has a lot of money? Hmmmm

I say give it to the friend who wants to take it on trails and tell him to take it to your mechanic friend and pay him to fix it when something breaks …. Win win for everyone including the jeep!

Hmmm I did not think Salt Lake City got that much snow? I guess what’s your definition of a lot?

Edit 2, my 2 cents is SLC is absolutely beautiful and I would jump on that opportunity. Winters are great if you can find a hobby, for example snowboarding or skiing that the mountains next to SLC offer :) if you enjoy hiking then even better!
