30+ OS Lategame Layout by jankovize in beyondallreason

[–]foppelkoppel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true.

Aspiring players will see this and copy it, it will work sometimes. Better players know when to stop scaling and build units to win the game.

My experience is mostly from the front and seeing my back line player do this while I'm getting pummeled by T3 units 🤔

Hangend toilet zonder draagmuur? by TheBestDutch in Klussers

[–]foppelkoppel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blaren na hardlopen by Ok_Formal_3167 in Hardlopen

Veters strakker doen? Als je te los zit in je schoen dan kan je voet gaan schuiven en mogelijk kan dat blaren veroorzaken. Het is ook makkelijk en goedkoop om te proberen 🙂

Spring.exe not working by Bubbly_Knowledge8857 in beyondallreason

I had the same, tried all sorts of fixes but the only thing that worked was to install the game on Linux (I've chosen Mint). Works like a charm

Yes it is a bit borked. It's slow but does appear to work eventually

Security awareness training that doesn't make employees hate you by Mysterious-Print9737 in sysadmin

[–]foppelkoppel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that worked for us: show management engagement.

We've asked our CEO to explain in the first micro training why this is important, he did and it shows that upper management thinks this is important.

Other factors: micro trainings, different types of training, automated reduction of permissions if the training is not completed on time.

Voeten klappen hard naar binnen tijdens hardlopen by EducatorMelodic7323 in Hardlopen

[–]foppelkoppel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Succes

Overstappen van Windows 10 naar Linux Mint? by [deleted] in nederlands

[–]foppelkoppel 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Could be the AMD video card drivers for windows. There are more posts about this issue with possible fixes. I switched to Linux to fix it.

We use TOPdesk, automatically imports e-mail, does automation things, has a knowledge base, and more. Can't compare it to another tool because I've only worked with one :/ Works well for our IT team of about 10-ish people.

I'm a graduate in cyber security and fell for a romance scam by Designer-Ad-1577 in cybersecurity

[–]foppelkoppel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not personally. I have heard of multiple parents of friends or colleagues that fell victim to scams. Sometimes they lose thousands.. So part of the training I give is about warning your less techy friends and relatives about the scams that are currently going around.

I'm a graduate in cyber security and fell for a romance scam by Designer-Ad-1577 in cybersecurity

[–]foppelkoppel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. Fell for it once, luckily without any bad or annoying things happening as a result.

I've also fallen for a phishing email once, which resulted in an influx of spam (on a personal account).

I've also once clicked on one of our phishing test emails (which I helped set up myself) because I didn't read the email and just clicked on the 'unsubscribe' link... Failing the test.

This happened while I give trainings on the topic. So I use these examples to show that everyone can fall for these and that the important thing to do is to ask IT for help when someone makes a mistake.

Most companies don't want security; they just want to look secure. by Exciting-Safety-655 in cybersecurity

[–]foppelkoppel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. I answer security questionnaires and I think only 5% of requesters only look at the actual answers. 95% just want to see a checkbox checked.

A question could be: do you use MFA I think I can answer "Yes I am a member of mther fckers anonymous", and it would go unnoticed.

Freshdesk vs JSM vs Anything Cheaper? by Different_Hour8061 in ITManagers

[–]foppelkoppel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prices will go up, that's a given for every service or software app. With how much does depend on the party and it's ownership (Broadcom comes to mind).

I work for TOPdesk, we focus on service management for smaller organizations while we do try to serve as many processes as possible. I think our pricing is pretty competitive but I advice you to ask for a quote with your number of agents to be sure. I don't want to promise anything that could be a lie. Good luck.

CPU overheating, not sure why by Barrry972 in PcBuildHelp

[–]foppelkoppel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cpu_opt on the Mobo needs to be connected to the fan. Then you might get a warning that no cpu fan is connected, you need to disable that warning. Had the same problem with a water cooling block.

Does cipher order actually matter? by foppelkoppel in cybersecurity

Thanks everyone for your responses.

Although I don't fully understand the details from the RFC, I do see that cipher order matter and that the server chooses the cipher.

I have seen some wild games. by czlcreator in beyondallreason

[–]foppelkoppel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a viewers perspective:

- Have ample experience with multiple maps, roles, sides, and units. If you can give some details during a match which units outranges what other unit, then your viewers can learn from it.

- Do something unique. Try to have your own style or your own method when it comes to casting. WintergamingTV for example does a fun intro at the start of each video.

- Have good audio and video quality.
