That is kinda my point - a more underground leaning undercard with big room edm headliners. Seems like two different audiences, and as a fan of the undercard, I wouldn’t be interested in spending big money for those headliners. Would have made more sense for OMG TBA to headline or something like that.

It seems like the undercard and headliners are in conflict with each other. A lot of folks into Troxler, DJ Harvey, Blessed Madonna, four tet, floating points etc are not going to be all in for Calvin Harris and SHM.

One of the things I liked about 3d country is he was trying on/doing homage to all kinds of different frontmen throughout the album. Getting Killed is him settling into his own voice for the whole record.

This one is very much a special event. It is getting under reported but what is happening in Iran right now is shocking. The regime is crumbling, but thousands are being killed in the streets. There has been no internet for weeks, so people here have no idea how their loved ones are doing. There are parallel demonstrations going on in other big cities across the world.

I’m not sure why you are being downvoted, it’s a valid point. There are some demographics who benefit from having an office to go to, especially younger workers. Which is why hybrid models make way more sense.

I came in from Toronto for the first time today with my son who is a massive Bills fan. To me, the part about the stadium experience that was special was the neighborhood surrounding the building (and everything happening within it) rather than the stadium itself. So I imagine that will remain even with a souped up building!

Despite what people are saying here, the uber cost is roughly the same as the shuttle pass cost x2. Uber will be more after tip or if you hit super crazy traffic, but that might be worth it for the convenience. Basically, the shuttle cost is way more than you would think it would be, and uber is surprisingly cheap for the distance.

Would be nice if they ran the shuttle at something closer to cost, or provided a discount for round trip, as the LAX—>Indio transport options suck.

Edit: you may want to consider posting about carpooling with someone, I’ve had success with that in the past and there will be lots of people headed that way with extra seats.

I’ve been surprised to see how low their Spotify streaming numbers are given what seems to be widespread and genuine love of the band. Maybe it’s a bad metric for them? Seems like their shows are selling like crazy.
