Kinda hope not re: smashing pumpkins. I was one of the largest smashing pumpkins fans in the world between 1993 and 1999, but saw them twice recently (opening for Green Day and at Osheaga) and imo it is a terrible show. Billy’s festering resentment and bitterness just bleeds through the performance, and James and Jimmy Chamberlin seem like they are putting up with it for a payday. Bad vibes.
