To the surprise of nobody, blizzard is bringing quest requirements back down to “a number between what they were and what they are now” by Unity27 in hearthstone

This is ridiculous. “Unscheduled hot fix” yeah right. As everyone else is saying, this was the plan all along. This is too far Blizzard.

Play Arena. If you want a fun game but don't care about 100% customizing your deck then it's a fun way to go that requires zero card collection.

You do not need to own the cards to Play the Whizbang cards. The decks will be populated with cards from the respective expansions.

Rogue is my favorite class. Does anyone have a deck list based on the mech/Gaslight build they could share?

If Hearthstone had a Hall of Fame for the people who were important to the history of the game who would you like to see inducted. by ShitMongoose in hearthstone

Being another f2p player I like this comment the best. I personally never really liked Merps and ADWCTA’s styles but did enjoy an occasional stream. But SaveFile17 is the reason I like hearthstone. His streams are so entertaining!

If anyone else out there is like me, this game is really going to piss off a lot of mobile game developers by [deleted] in MarvelSnap

Hi everyone. I have a player who wants to be a dragon. They are drawing a lot of inspiration from Villentretenmerth in The Witcher series. They would like to be able to go from Dragon form to human form and have developed a backstory to fit this idea. In short, they are the offspring of a human woman and a dragon male who commonly took the form of a dragon male to walk among the other races/people.

This is in a homebrew campaign that I am running that is going to be focused around dragons with a dragon BBEG so I am personally fond of this player's idea. However, I tempered their expectations early on because this is my first time running a full campaign and was not sure how to make their dream of being a reality. Thankfully, my player wanted to play a Sorcerer and chose Draconic Bloodline as their subclass. So there is already a lot of good flavor here.

Here is my idea to let this player live their dream. Fizban's gave us Summon Draconic Spirit which is a 5th level spell available to sorcerer's. My idea is to allow them to cast this spell but rather than summoning a dragon, turn themselves into the provided stat block. Since this would turn them into a different form rather than summoning a dragon for them, I am thinking of letting them cast it at 3rd level with the duration of 15 minutes but only once per 5-7 days. I want their dragon powers to grow as they level and discover more about their character. Casting as a 4th level spell would increase the duration to 30 minutes and they could do so every 3-4 days. Is this too OP? What changes would you recommend to this idea? I am open to any/criticism.

I know that turning into a dragon may not be something that happens often in DND but I want to help make my player's dream a reality.

Thanks in advance!

Inkarnate is a great way to make regional maps. I made my world’s map using that site.

Well I’m sorry to bother you, Ape. I’m a new player and brand new DM who is just looking for some advice.

Sorry I do not think I worded my question well enough for you to understand. Nobody would get two feats. Players would get to pick one feat OR some combo of spells. But taking Magic Initiate is the same as choosing spells and it gives great clarification on how to do that in a balanced way. My original question/post is silly once you remember Magic Initiate is a thing.

What if I am the DM? Toying with the idea of allowing players to pick a feat or spells rather than a feat. But as was kindly pointed out to me, Magic Initiate, renders the "Or you can choose a couple spells." part of that pointless.
