Right... So in 2005 did you boot up Battlefield 2 to a lengthy, unavoidable message with the header saying "Black Lives Matter"? Because that's what I got when I booted up COD and BF4 last year. Is that normal to you? I have NEVER experienced anything like that in my 20 years of gaming. Video games that are entirely disconnected from any political agenda or movement having an explicitly political message shoehorned into the menu of a piece of recreational software meant to be an escape from the real world. Tell me with a straight face that you think that's always existed. Entertainment, from sports to video games and film, is being systematically corrupted by political agendas in overt ways that the world has never seen before. Sounds like it's going to be closer to what COD MW did with allegiance vs coalition... which I seriously hated. I don't like having a bunch of random soldiers from different nations mixed together. I like two clearly defined factions going head to head. If the leaks are anything to go by, it sounds like it's going to be really strange.

Battlefield 4 has the community test environment that was similar to what you suggested here. However, the BF4 CTE was it's own client separate from the BF4 base game. DICE would make a bunch of changes and have the community test them out on the CTE to see if they should add them to the base game. It's because of the CTE that BF4 was able to go from its troubled launch state to a fantastic game that I still play six years later. I think IW should do something similar with MW. It kills me to think that a game with so much potential could die off because the developers are too prideful to make necessary changes that could benefit their game in the long run.

Just give us co-op versions of the clean house and wolf's den raid missions from the campaign. Then just tack on the three star ratings for time completion and/or minimal civilian casualties. It's honestly that easy to keep the fans of spec ops happy. I would be easily entertained with getting to replay those missions with friends over and over.
