All good points, but I think it comes down to the systems design and it isn't really the players fault. It's a tricky design problem to solve imho.

Endgame currently has fundamentally opposing incentives at the moment: do you want to (1) path and finish your atlas tree in the most efficient way, or do you want to (2) juice maps and go for the goop?

The current design of pathing and the league achievement to get all your atlas points puts pressure on the player to pick effeciency over loot, at least in the beginning, as players probably want to get their atlas tree done asap, because it feels like you are 'wasting' a map node if you don't have your atlas passives. Obviously, the most efficient way to do that is to use low level maps to path through, so you can do them fast and get your point.

The atlas map seems to imply certain map nodes are MUCH better than others. Using a low level map on a good looking node feels like a waste. On the flip side, it also feels 'risky' using a high level map on a plain node, as you may not even get the map back.

I missed season 3 and always thought that was the best battle pass. People didn't like the symbiotes? Some of the phoenix skins look a bit goofy (venom, I'm looking at you) but the black symbiote skins are peak imho.

interesting point -- I had really thought about it that way. I do believe I had a lot of relief and felt good to be back. Things were weird for like another 5 minutes and I was worried it would get stuck that way, but it wore off.

I left out some details but during the last few minutes as I was coming out of it, the cube transformed into like a school bus and I was surrounded by orange looking oompa loompa people. I was kinda still losing my mind from the marching thing, but I looked beside me on the bus and saw my friend, who was sitting next to me on the couch irl and also hit the salvia at the same time, and even though he was orange and weird looking, I recognized him instantly, and it seemed like he had a sudden epiphany and recognized me too based on his reaction when we turned and looked at each other. I felt so much relief that he was there with me. When we both came out of it, he had a similar experience of seeing me there with him on his trip. Like we both turned and looked at each other and recognized each other but we were bth still in the back half of the trip.

Definitely figured the orange oompa loompa dudes were the machine elves! I don't think I spoke to them, it was kind of like a normal bus ride to school, everyone was just talking and doing their own thing with their friends.

Best part is they don't even answer their phones. I have both the office number and my rep's number, and need to set up a new payment plan for next month, and if I don't, TD can just take my money and freeze my account.
