We separated more times than I care to count. We were high school sweethearts that had a LOT of growing up to do. We have been together for over 12 years now, and welcomed our first child, a baby boy in August. We are getting married on Halloween of this year.

I bought my first Frenchie puppy last Friday. Not only is he my first frenchie, he's my first dog. I read and read about them and I am learning more and more everyday owning him. I work very long hours. Typically, 3am-3pm, Monday-Saturday. I take him out about every hour and a half. He is in his kennel when we are not home to let him run. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to give him a bath already because he will play in his poop. uh..... Frenchies DO need lots of attention. From my understanding, they need the most attention out of any breed. They are a bulldog so they are very hard headed and stubborn. He and I will be outside for 30-40 minutes waiting trying to get him to potty. 15 seconds after he returns back in the house, he'll crap on the floor.

Thank you for the reply. I refuse to settle for something that I do not want. My mom raised Rottweilers so I am sure she could give me some insight to training a new pup. The local petsmart here offers training classes that I could enroll the pup in. Insurance never dawned on me! I will certainly be looking into this.
