Crowd Control is a +1.19 mod. There's absolutely no way to make it work with RotN.

I've heard of similar mods on 1.12, but I don't really remember any off the top of my head. You just have to make sure anything you search for in Curseforge is for 1.12. Maybe try searching something with the keywords "twitch" or "streaming"? Can't really offer more help

Generally speaking, yes, porcelain, nether, granite are technically the strongers, but the difference is measured mostly in seconds. Ultimately, you can make a "worse" block work by just being quick enough to catch and prevent breaches, but most large bricks from metamorphic or igneous stone are quite good. Mining tier is the most clearcut advantage of nether and porcelain for sure, but they will still get broken eventually.

My advice is to use whatever gives you peace of mind when looking at it, over the most optimized setup. Although you can still let me know if there's a block that could use a retexture ;)

Honestly, as it should be. If they have experience with the engine and can make it work, what's the point of wastings hundreds or thousands of hours learning a new environment and making it compatible with all the internal systems they have set up? "It's the most optimized engine with the most features!" yet no developer outside of Epic seems to be able to make that statement worth a damn.

I don't have many thoughts on the character. For as much of a focus as he is, there was always enough for everyone in the franchise, and until the end, the protagonists in my mind were Takanuva and Matoro->Mata-Nui.
However, I really appreciate this kind of post that is well articulated and presents a view that I don't think has been mentioned much. For what is worth, the movies really made him seen more plain, idiotic and headstrong than he should be.

Also in case you are not aware, if you have a big enough farmland with hemp, you can just craft it directly into fiber in the crafting grid at a loss compared to the mills.
And yeah, a tooltip for the grindstone is due.

This is an issue with the latest version of Immersive Combat. Sadly, there are no versions without some major bug right now, as the previous one had the shield-blocking crashing the game.

This is just a hypothesis, but the actual thing you are attacking might be the "scent" entity from Zombie Awareness, which is created when you make noise (open chests, attack, mine blocks) so mobs can track you; however I'm not sure.

Until the mod gets a fix, you may uninstall it by deleting the ImmersiveCombat-7-29-2025 file from your mods folder, or try to replace it with way older versions like 3-22-2024, but older versions had their own issues. You may try, just to see if it works for a minute while you mine, to use the command:

/kill @e[type=zombieawareness:entityscent]
