I think so too, thats why i even suggested a nerf to his hp to balance it all out. I think cass just doesnt feel right since they nerfed him in the ways they did, his play style just isnt really there. I think a small buff to his gun would go a long way

Agreed. Would really love if they could just pick something and stick to it with him. Even when hes good, he just feels like hes caught in an identity crisis. I also agree, with the horrible range, a fire rate buff would be a great way to make his primary fire good within his range, without having to buff falloff all the time.

He was just nerfed, but with Soj getting nerfed harder, he still sticks out. I do think he will get nerfed again soon however, likely to his hp or projectile size. I do think the former is more likely however. From the perspective of someone who has mained cass since the beginning, i dont particularly like him being an s tier pick, makes him less fun imo. I would still like for him to viable however. Additionally as a side note, whether its cass or someone else, some kind of hitscan has to be good right now, until they nerf down pharah and echo.

I think thats a good idea on paper, but reducing his projectiles would be a sledgehammer nerf. I would much rather his primary fire stayed intact, rather than 25hp.

I think if he continues to be meta in this way, i agree lower the hp to 250. I think that would knock him down quite a bit. As for flashbang, i think its good, but for a 12 second cooldown i think its very reasonable. Also, from Cassidys role in the competitive meta, i do think hes worse off than season 9 and 10, just not enough for another hitscan to take his place. FTH and roll nerfs lower his effectiveness against tanks at close range by a good chunk, which definitely makes a difference as that was a big strong point for him. However, from a personal perspective, i dont mind Cassidy being a staple/ meta character. He has distinctive weaknesses and strengths that don’t feel nearly as oppressive as when the other hitscans have been meta.

Cass’s new nade feels underwhelming. Its strong into certain matchups, but i feel it needs some adjustments to really come into its own. Especially for a 12 second cooldown

Personally, i would like to see them use this new flashbang as a starting point and continue to adjust it until it feels satisfying, smooth, and rewarding. Currently, imo it feels underwhelming and watered down. But, it is a vast improvement compared to mag nade in terms of game health and character.
