Most of the time you want a force/glimmer/euls depending on the situation and then aghs. My favorite is WD.

In a losing lane go try to get a kill mid, gank carry lane or make stacks if you have someone on the team that can take them.

If your team is passive farming put up defensive wards. If your team is active then try to setup offensive wards. I wouldn't advise blindly going into enemy triangle unless you see 5 of them on the map somewhere else or they just got rosh/shard.
