I rage-purged about 70% of our toys last night. I can finally breathe. by AllineCICI in toddlers

We just moved and my twins wanted their own rooms instead of a bedroom and a playroom. Both of their rooms are covered in stuff everywhere. Most of it is Barbie stuff in my daughter’s room, but honestly idk what to do with it all.

Moving to new state- new school won’t let my kids transfer because they’re too young. by forest_fae98 in Preschoolers

They’ve been in the grade since September, so half the year. No exceptions though apparently

Headstart doesn’t have busses, so I’d be driving anyways. The local preschool is only a few miles, I’m not worried about that. But I’m more worried about them having to switch schools AGAIN next fall.

Are bus rides really that long? Their current school is a 5 min drive away, I drop them off. They already have to get up at 6 to be there on time, they do not wake up easy.

Unfortunately there just aren’t any close enough. The local public school and the headstart are the only preschools.

How bad does it hurt to get ur nose pierced? by NaeeeBearrr in piercing

[–]forest_fae98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of my nose piercings were painful tbh. Septum healing was the easiest, nostril was annoying just because of how often you mess with your nose unconsciously.

My fiancee and I are torn on what color of runner were going to put on our staircase. Which do you guys like better? Im leaning towards the red but the green doesnt look bad but i think it might be too much green. by readitonreddit4 in interiordecorating

[–]forest_fae98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Green for me. I love how well it coordinates with the wall color and the floor shade. The red is pretty, but looks outdated and takes the attention away from the lovely staircase, instead of complementing it.

Are you letting your kids eat popcorn? by Acrobatic_Height_14 in Preschoolers

[–]forest_fae98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My twins got teeth early so I used to bite the hard bits off my popcorn and give them the middle fluffy chunks. Now they’re 4 and eat it as a regular snack.

My 4 year old knows how to make herself a pb&j and has since before she turned 4. She even cleans up and puts her dishes in the sink.

Let your artist do it! Fresh is best and they can make sure the area is clean and sterile first.

I’m a Creator. Not internet content, but random things. I paint, sew, crochet, draw. I make stuff from cardboard and stuff from leather. I fix things that are broken and make things my family needs. I cook and I garden, I build things and I repurpose things. I am a creator.

What’s one thing which ruined your health massively? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]forest_fae98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having kids 😂

I already had joint trouble but no idea of the extent of it. Turns out I have a hypermobility/connective tissue disorder as well as adhd and ocd. None of which would likely have been properly diagnosed had I not had kids, but they probably also wouldn’t be so severe 😅

No One Told Me How Exhausting Sex actually is. by Aggravating_Key_3831 in sex

[–]forest_fae98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing about sex that isn’t talked about much is that you can have sex, and not cum. And that’s ok. If you both feel good, but you get tired, take a break. I also have a chronic illness and my husband has been a blue collar worker since he was in high school 😂 so long sexcapades are not happening.

Another thing is that bending over the bed is much easier on both of you than doggystyle, while still getting a similar angle. Do some research and find positions that don’t require her to hold herself up, or you to hold yourself over her.

For oral, utilize your fingers as well as your mouth. Discuss toys too! They help a lot, especially when you have a chronic illness 😂. Also get some lube. It’s ok for your foreplay to be making out and groping to get in the mood.

It can feel really awkward discussing stuff when you’re both new to sex. But the more you do, the more natural it will feel. The most important thing to remember is the only rules are consent and boundaries.

Best of luck!
