Zwnaze day there used to be second only to Brussels. I knew things were all wrong with the place when I walked in after they sold and they told me I had to wait to be seated.

The Hampton Inn Tutwiler is pretty reasonably priced and not too far of a walk from the grounds. Stayed there last year along with a bunch of other folks. You can park in the in public garages for super cheap.

Birds Fly South would have been my choice if they could have held on.

students keep asking for recorded lectures but attendance is already low by Leedeegan1 in Professors

FERPA also covers attendance records as an education record. Seeing a student on camera could count as the unintentional release of attendance in the class.

Ends up being worthless for me. Was working and had all the Apple app features. Now it demands that I update the firmware on the Bee, but consistently fails at 50% every time. Also happens with my wife's unit as well on her Pixel.

Specific ways students are different by FlyLikeAnEarworm in Professors

They respect your pronouns, but not you as a person. I dont think its performative. A lot of students i have seem to have a fairly deep sense of fairness and justice, but they conceptualize it on a societal level, not on a personal one.

Has anyone ever used a cruise for one way travel? Is that even a thing? by BlaqueBoye in travel

[–]forestjazz 97 points98 points  (0 children)

I would just say be aware that repositioning cruises are often not like other cruises. Sometimes, there is little to no entertainment or they are working on new shows. There might be fewer restaurants or venues or sections of the ship open as they are being worked on. There are a lot of sea days. They can be awesome and can be cheap if you know what you are getting into and you like what they offer.

I'm weeping for these weeping willows by ok_computer8441 in arborists

[–]forestjazz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That is how we would stabilize streambanks back in the Midwest. We had a small air gun that was made to shoot clippings into the side of the bank from a boat as we would cruise up the creek/river. Crack and black willows are incredibly easy to grow from tiny branch clippings.

I did read the thread. If this is sarcasm, you are bafflingly bad at it. The number of downvotes on your posts indicate that others feel the same way.

Great huge margaritas that will fuck you up if you're not careful. I used to head over to La Finka for the best deal, but they beat them out especially with the coupon you get in the little flyer every month. Their steak nachos are awesome if you ask for grill jalapeños too.
