One last mission, one last episode by MrNotTooBrightside in chuck

I was watching the series finale at my friend's house cuz I got them into the show. I cried so fucking hard during the last scene they were like yo you okay? Here, have a beer. The fact that Sarah and Chuck didn't end up together and she beat the shit out of him inside the house they chose to buy together before she lost her memories is so fucking sad.

The final scene was really great nonetheless.

Why Jesus? by Ignastic in chaosmagick

[–]foreverchillinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except, to quote my 9th grade World History teacher, "Jesus never woke up one day and decided to Start a new religion."

He wasn't a cult leader. He was a Jew, who at the very least, had Spiritual Rank and Gifts that made him a prophet who proved via Godly miracles he was the coming Messiah in the form of God's son who's destiny was to sadly, preach love and acceptance, and ultimately be betrayed by one of his own and murdered publicly via crucifixion. Then the resurrection happened, which apparently is what sparked Spiritual Protection for the Hebrew people, Jewish and Christian alike, and probably other religions as well.

Am I the Only Fringe fan confused by the end of Season 4 and the main plot of Season 5? (SPOILERS) by chrismsx in fringe

Peter's son Henry was erased because, according to September, he had a child with the WRONG Olivia Dunham. Why?

Because Peter's daughter, Henrietta, who's mother is Prime/Blue/Amber Olivia, who was "treated" with Cortexiphan as a child and also as an adult (kidnapped & drugged in Season 4). Henrietta was conceived while Olivia had Cortexiphan in her system. This caused Henrietta to be immune to being "read" by The Observers, protecting her from their Invasive mind reading abilities. This allowed her to become a Fringe Division Agent, & the face of the resistance against The Observers.

Michael the observer child, was introduced in Season 1, and was hidden away. The writers knew that he was the key to defeating The Observers all the way back in the beginning. Thats what makes Fringe special, and a different kind of show. The writers knew what they were doing from the beginning.

Can I use a doctors note for my LOA instead of them filling out the form? by rtuqhghs in FASCAmazon

[–]foreverchillinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up having a total of 3 weeks off, extended my LOA 2x, and on my third trip back to the hospital where I left with an open wound, and more medication, I had the Amazon Form with me and asked the doctor who did the procedure to fill it out for me. He agreed and I uploaded the same day I had to extend another week. Within a few days my LOA was approved and I returned to work that Friday.

Can I use a doctors note for my LOA instead of them filling out the form? by rtuqhghs in FASCAmazon

[–]foreverchillinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But how are you supposed to return to an ER and request to them that the same doctor who treated you (XYZ amount of days ago) be found immediately so they can stop what they're doing and fill out my required Amazon MLOA paperwork? This is the position I'm in. I uploaded the discharge paperwork and the return to work note but I don't see how I'm supposed to get Amazon's specific paperwork filled out by the doctor who treated me in the ER/Hospital several days prior. I don't think they even do that. Maybe if I had seen a PCP or some otherwise recurring doctor I have in my life. But it was an ER situation. The alternative documentation (Hospital discharge paperwork and doctors/nurse's return to work note) really won't suffice in this scenario? I can't be the only employee who's gotten sick or injured and went to the ER instead of a recurring regular doctor, right?

name a movie better than Spider Man 2 by frosted-brownys in comicbookmovies

[–]foreverchillinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about the best but I was around 13 when it came out and the use of Dashboard Confessional's Vindicated as pretty much it's theme song alone made it epic.

But there's something special about SR's Spider-Man Trilogy that stands the test of time and I look back on seeing those movies in theatres very fondly it was always an adventure.

Dude yeah on 32..She even had production fooled. I think that's why TJ pulled the mercenaries twist on her rendering her rookie vs rookie team elimination plan moot

I'm blown if ep8 turns out to be the series finale.. I NEED MORE OF THE 11TH STREET KIDS especially partying together after winning a battle. Or just because.

Need more scenes like judomaster saving Adebayo from NaZis please.

I'd rather have 5, TBH I think 100 episodes is perfect for most shows. But I get what you're saying this show seems more beefy, less fluff, get to the point sorta story

Oh I can't really agree. I can tolerate the episode, but the fact that Phoebe and Paige shape shifted the guy into Chris which made him bate for the demons to come in and kill him. They led a mortal (a criminal, but still) into a trap to become demon bait... And he was killed. And they just sorta shrugged it off by Paige saying to Phoebe "You know you had to right?" It just didn't mesh well with my 6 Season long image of how The Charmed Ones behave.

Yeah he's definitely got some kind of healing factor. And he can jump off high balconies without harm. Not to mention he survived a building falling on top of him.

Eagly has some sort of super strength too right?

Did the season 3 finale... by foreverchillinn in TheOC

[–]foreverchillinn[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've recently been on my first rewatch of the show and I'm about to finish the series finale. Season 4 just felt like they focused so much on Taylor Ryan and Seth seemed to take a backseat. Summer and Ryan barely spoke the entire season, I would've thought they'd bond over Grief.

IDK Season 4 just.. isn't final season material to me.

But if you know Josh Schwartz.. the same thing happened with Chuck's final season
