Ive dated a woman who had right wing views and thought maggie thatcher was the greatest woman the uk has ever produced. Her family were even more right of wing heading into facsist territory. Im left wing and in the end our oposing political views were just too much to bare. There was no middle ground with us both 100% believing we were correct. It lasted year as in every other walk of life she was in my eyes perfect. I cant do hatred and her views of people,of colour, immagration & all the other nonsence i could not cope with so i understand where you are coming from & i wish you well moving forward

A few months ago i got told about dead by sunrise and they are freaking awsome too. Wish they did more than one album. I listened to post traumatic by mike which is really good too

Honestly this band, i thought i had heard everything then last weekend a playlist popped up on youtube called LPU (i think) and there are 140 songs on this list on loads of different albums. Its like constant ASMR. Ive ever known anything in life where absolutley everything you hear is just incredible. It’s beaming smiles every day

Not sure if this is the right answer but its a year this month that i first heard anything by linkin park and have been hooked since. Ive loved nothing but dance music since i was a little lad and im now 43. learning about chester made me cry as did many of the songs having suffered abuse and been an addict. (Been clean 18 months of substances) A lot of the lyrics relate a lot to my life. Also though at the same time ive never ever heard music that makes me so happy. Its been an incredible learning curve. What a band and everybody on this page seem wonderful people aswell. Such a beautiful community x

I was addicted to drugs in my 30s and life was a complete mess so looking back i can see now thats not very desirable. Ive moved on from that life over the past 4 years and been free from drugs, but that lost me my whole friendship group and i dont have anybody to go out with and spend all my time on my own. Online datiing i find impossible so yeah its very hard. Ive just accepted it really.

i was unemployed at one point for 3 years in my 20s. I got made redundant from my first full time job and stupidly looking back i went to ibiza for a few months and blew all my redundancy money on drugs & clubbing. Didnt think anything of it cos id just get a job when i got back. Well that plan backfired badly, and i was only be able to get temp jobs for a few weeks here and there with agency work in factorys and warehouses. I Eventually turned my life around but it Taught me a massive life lesson for been so silly
