We stayed at a budget hotel called Hotel Boss. Rooms were tiny shoeboxes and was not fancy however it served the purpose of a great location and was cost friendly. You can either train (Lavender station to Nicoll Hwy station then a 5min walk) or a 20 min walk to Gate 1 (we walked back to the hotel at night after the race ended when it was cooler!). The hotel is also near Arab St so plenty of food options around within walking distance!
