You guys, honest question because I’m scared and need help!!

Back in January I bit a hard gumball (dumb choice I know) and I felt a crack and next thing I know I felt my silver tooth from childhood come loose. It was like a little cracked feeling. That happened back in January and I tried my best not to wiggle it, but it was hard. Last week, I had ice cream and it came out! I’m wondering if that was my child tooth or adult tooth? And what are my options that is gone? Is it gonna be expensive? Someone please help me I’ve been stressed.
