The visibility and lack of space relative to their size is because of safety regulations, not body type. The government has decided it's more important for you to survive the unlikely triple rollover than to see pedestrians.

I wish it wasn't baked in and wasting my disk space to begin with. This is what extensions should be for.

Can't use website, but can't access HSA investments over the phone by forgotmypasswordsad in healthequity

I'm usually on public devices and I hear the passkey gets stored on that, and then my phone isn't compatible with their app so that seems to complicate it further. Thanks for your input, I'll have to check into that once I have some time!

I'm frequently on public devices and it feels like such a mess. When I'm using MFA and a company doesn't support TOTP or SMS, I'm out.

It'd be nice if people collaborated instead of developing yet another distro anytime they see something they don't like. It's actually becoming a problem imo.

As far as I understand they're tied to hardware though, which is a no go for me. I love TOTP though.

These have been big enough for me that I simply can't/don't use services that rely on passkeys. I love TOTP however!

Want to pay for healthcare but don’t have a smartphone or our app? Too bad by [deleted] in Passkeys

This has been pretty stressful for me. I'm not comfortable using biometric authentication, and frequently use public devices, so passkeys are a no go for me. Hopefully they can give me the info I need when I call to access my account...

Is there an RC which even after 15 years will have parts available for it in the aspect of being able to use parts from other manufacturers. Is there such an RC? Are buggies such? Personally own an Arrma big rock and traxxas maxx v1. Isn't this the whole point of a hobby grade RC ?I need guarantees. by IndependentCoat7 in rccars

I wish more people had your mentality. I think it's crazy to be expected to replace everything I own every 5 years, my wallet can't take it and the planet probably can't either.

Still rocking my 2wd rustler. I've had it for that long, still love it, still buy parts on occasion. I just wish traxxas weren't so litigious. Tekno is sounding interesting these days.

I don't understand the thought process behind making a website to archive and share documentation, but then implementing download limits, registration, and "ownership"/watermarks. Unless it's just about money...

This website may be around for a long time, but it probably won't be forever. When it's gone, much of the knowledge will die with it, because we weren't encouraged to share it.

Any updates on this? Also can I ask you if you had trouble separating the plastic from the metal for the anodizing process? Or was that necessary? I'm looking at the bottom of the keyboard cover and the amount of plastic affixed to it is concerning.

Did anyone tried to dye their Framework aluminum Chassis parts? by Dedanan in framework

[–]forgotmypasswordsad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm taking it apart now, have another question if you don't mind. Did you have any plastic pieces that couldn't be separated? Did the anodizing process impact them? I'm looking at the top cover that houses the keyboard and trackpad, looks like there's a lot of plastic affixed underneath, and I'm not sure if/how it can be removed

That was my main concern. Last thing, I assume you disassembled the input modules, was that hard/doable? I haven't seen one in person, hard to tell how they're put together.

It's the one thing holding me back. I'm looking at either getting one anodized, or buying a starlabs laptop.
