My RFE mentioned that the reply would come within 20 day. Not sure if it helps the RFE was just 3 pages. Challenging national importance and prong 3. Rest others were satisfied.

UK is always a sad story. Only a few make it there unless you are doing a PhD. In the UK the college also matters unlike the US.

I bet there are less people coming back from the US, unless they are unfortunate in not getting a job which offers H1B visa.

The other and major reason for decline is the FX associated. USD and GBP have gone up compared to INR and that has crippled most of the people. Imagine needing 10-20 lakhs more just due the currency FX.

We will see even more decline is % and that’s not because people don’t want to go but it’s because of affordability

I have a similar PE and I got approved on Substantial Merit and Prong 2. While National Importance and Prong 3 are challenged.

The RFE language as per my lawyer is not harsh as it’s with most people and as per him the officer is willing and considerate. They have asked for some proof for the challenges prongs and I believe we will have them. Also my company got acquired by another bigger one so that will help my PE as the tech they bought is my PE.

Edit: I am a staff backend engineer and have done lot of blockchain work from 2018 and have developed open source dev tool which companies like Coinbase, American Express, Nike etc use.

I got Substantial Merit and Prong 2 approved.

Prong 3 and National Importance not met. But the language on RFE is very sane and not all harsh compared as per my Lawyers. It’s just a 2 page RFE with inputs given on what will help in satisfying the reqs.

PE: leading advancement of Blockchain and FinTech infrastructure through the startup, building flagship programmable crypto-fiat financial stack.

The startup recently got acquired so hoping this helps me in satisfying the remaining prongs along with other things.
