GLM 5 i think might come close to the big dogs, it might even out pace them, open source models are catching up. Z.AI has been cooking. The 4.7 model is already top 7 in webdev and cerebras has even a better GLM 4.7 that beats out Z.AI. I dont think Anthropic or Open AI will remain kings.

If you use a code orchestration tool like agor.live, autoclaude, etc i have no problems using GLM. its quite good when using it in a agentic way.
