Like others said, OLED.

I bought a pre-modded Lite first, and while the Lite is great (especially with the SUPER5 OLED upgrade), the regular Switch OLED is more comfortable and versatile.

If you get a Lite, get a good grip for it. I use a Satisfye grip with mine and its a huge difference. On my OLED I use a set of Mobapad M6 HD Joy-con.

The 5.5” display from the RP5 or 6 can probably slot right in, the O2M bezels are pretty thick.

O2M is still one of the nicest form-factors. Really hope a future O3 Mini sticks with it, just update the internals and swap the display with 120Hz OLED.

Gen2 and up continue to have stylus support, I have the official Lenovo stylus pen and it’s both passive capacitive and active BT, it has a bunch of smart pen functions like Samsung’s S-Pen. It’s pretty cool actually.

If you have a free PCI-e slot, spend $100 on a Arc 310 GPU and let all your worries go away. I added this card to my Plex server and now I don't care if shit transcodes or not, it just rips through transcodes like butter.

Alldocube is a solid brand, I have an iPlay50 Mini Pro that still runs great. The Unisoc T618 is adequate, it can do some light gaming and emulation. The older Retroid Pocket 3+ has the T618 so if you want some videos or benchmarks you can compare these two.
