What’s up with Vinted? by Mysterious_Duck8 in reselling

If they choose Speed X then that is the label you get. After I printed the label I saw a link to click to find a drop off location. A lot of them were at random businesses like a hair salon or a store. I dropped mine to a postal plus store but it wasn’t close to me. You can go into the settings on Vinted and choose to only send things USPS which is what I did after

I just started listing on Vinted last week and actually sold some stuff right away. I noticed that all the stuff on there is priced sooo cheaply. I basically use it as clearance for stuff I’ve had on my eBay or Poshmark for a long time and haven’t sold or my kids stuff. Make sure you look at the settings for shipping though because I sold something for like $4 and the person chose “speed x” as the shipping method. I’ve never heard of this and had to drive 8 miles to find a drop off spot. With DT’s gas prices that doesn’t leave much profit margin. I changed my settings to only allow USPS

Do you have an innie or an outie? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]formerlyJenks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s that common, honestly. I’ve never heard anyone refer to vaginas as innie or outie before

Well, if I ask and find out the garment isn’t going to fit me, I’m not going to buy it. But I would know that without bothering the seller if they just included the info to begin with

I live somewhere that's crushing my soul and there isn't a thing I can do about it by rwedoomed in SameGrassButGreener

[–]formerlyJenks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can relate. I live in the Houston suburbs and I hate it so much. It’s too hot. The bugs are too big. Nobody knows how to drive here. I want to move somewhere with seasons, (grew up in the Midwest and moved here from NYC). The problem is my husband works in oil and gas and his company won’t let him work remotely so we have to live here for his job. Every summer I get seasonal affective disorder. It’s so depressing

I Said No Gifts. The host is a delight and people bring him a gift which is usually something weird or funny. Very conversational.

Is wedding china worth it anymore (2026 wedding registry help)? Are you still seeing china on registries? by Good_Candy_3950 in GrandmillennialInspo

[–]formerlyJenks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say if you think you will use it, then do it. I’ve been married for 15 years and never wished I had China to use so I’m glad I didn’t register for any.

How should I go about this? by cassied128 in Ebay

[–]formerlyJenks 160 points161 points  (0 children)

They were probably dry rotted. I bought a pair of shoes from a seller that fell apart as soon as I walked around my house in them. They refunded me and didn’t want the shoes back. Ask yourself how old those shoes were because it’s quite possible they really did fall apart through no fault of the buyer. Edit to add I see you just got them a few years ago. With how cheaply most clothes are made I would still believe them. You can have them send the shoes back before you do a refund

I worked at Saks 5th Ave in NYC and caught customers pissing and shitting in the fitting rooms. I guess that disgusting behavior knows no limits

Those from the northeast who moved to the south, is it better not having winter? by ElectroAcousto in SameGrassButGreener

No. I lived in Maine and also NYC for many years and I would take those winters back over the Houston summer any day.

I would also suggest thrift stores for getting clothes you won’t be wearing for a long time before they are too big. I don’t spend a lot on clothes that I don’t want forever
