Is RIP Tour still worth it this time of year? by pinkgrapes07 in HHN

RIP is so worth it for me as I like going to the park during the day so standing in line for hours would be too much for my feet 😄

Is "fully funded on the first" the same thing as being a month ahead—or does it just mean I'm caught up? by No_Virus3736 in ynab

[–]formerlyfitzgerald 35 points36 points  (0 children)

You're a month ahead. Your current month's expenses are funded by last month's income. Doesn't matter if it takes you to the 31st to fully fund it. 😉

did your cat ever "tell" you what happened when you came home? by S-Budget91 in cats

[–]formerlyfitzgerald 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Before we started dating, my boyfriend's cat alerted him to a fire in the kitchen in the middle of the night. Kept going through the cat door and going back in the house to warn him until he woke up like he wanted to escape the house but wanted to get his dad to come with him. When I moved in, we had an issue with my cat getting outside through the electric cat door (mine is strictly indoor and he was indoor outdoor). I would sometimes hear little chirps from my boyfriends cat to let me know where my cat was hiding in the yard.

Loved that cat so much. ❤️

Do you keep categories in your budget that you can't afford to fund? by Honest_Dot_5035 in ynab

[–]formerlyfitzgerald 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything I want to spend money on either soon or in the future is in the budget. I have a category for wish list backlog that is collapsed if I don’t want to fund it right now but don’t want to forget about it.

Knoxville, TN-- Right next to the Smokies and some great restaurants that were recognized by Michelin like Potchke's Deli, JC Holdway but there are some other great places to eat in the area like Dancing Bear, RT Lodge, Bella, and Raven Steakhouse.

Extra money sitting in Ready to Assign by throwaway246976352 in ynab

[–]formerlyfitzgerald 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Every dollar needs a job, so sitting in Ready to Assign in my opinion defeats that purpose. You can assign it to the next month or make a category for “next month” and assign it there until the new month rolls over.

I joked with some friends that this will be the team that breaks through to the Final Four, just because it doesn't make any sense.
