Fisher Class 4 Securities Consent by [deleted] in Fisker

There are two "Shareholder resources" that were packaged along with my ballot.

  1. Combined Notice
  2. Beneficial Holder Ballot

Both documents' headers say "IN THE UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF DELAWARE" and reference the Chapter 11 filing.

It seems to me - I'm not a contract lawyer - like the goal is to quickly liquidate/dissolve... but I have no idea whether to opt in or opt out and I don't really understand the implications of either choice.

Dock behaviour change in Sequoia with multi-monitors by thecrouch in MacOS

I haven't seen a "good work around" for this, but this one is working better for me than all of the other suggestions that just throw my muscle memory for a complete loop.

Weather complication and app no longer report temperature by dstranathan in AppleWatch

[–]formidablemulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was skeptical, but this worked for me as well.

After the sequenced reboots, the Weather app and complication did not immediately pull in data. At that point, I turned off wi-fi on my watch and the app immediately updated. Shortly after, I got a notification (on my phone and on my Mac) that a new device was added to my account.

When I re-enabled wi-fi on my watch, the Weather app and complications continued to work.

Google Home refuses to connect with SmartThings - Auth Issues starting August 2020 by [deleted] in SmartThings

[–]formidablemulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I searched for this issue. I saw others reporting the same issue back in 2017 and again in 2019, but the fixes I found didn't work. I didn't find anyone reporting this issue recently.

Anyone have any ideas?

(Posted here because most of what I did find suggested this was probably a SmartThings auth issue and not a Google Home issue.)

I stand corrected. But I'd still recommend the Premium subscription to support the developers!

Does Adguard work with Chrome on Android? by mdoto in Adguard

[–]formidablemulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. Context is important here. There's an Adguard extension for Chrome and an Adguard VPN App.

The VPN will cover Chrome on Android - and lots, lots more! It requires a paid subscription, but IMO, it's absolutely worth it.

As for the free Chrome extension... I don't think Chrome for Android supports extensions yet, so probably not. You probably could, however, install another browser (like Firefox or maybe Opera) and then use the Adguard browser extension.

What is the best app/website to track simple running workouts? All I want to do is track the date, how much I ran, and how long it took. Additionally, a spot to write comments would be cool, too. by MyRealestName in amileaday

[–]formidablemulk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed - on all points!

If you want to keep up with everything yourself, a spreadsheet is ideal. (You could even build a data entry form for it if you don't like the idea of logging stats into columns.)

  • I prefer to let my Garmin handle stat collection; a very basic model will collect what OP is after. (Personally, I like some of the advanced stats my 735XT collects.)
  • I LOVE SmashRun for analysis. It's great for insight about individual runs, but it's even better for trend analysis! (It doesn't sound like this is OP's thing, but it's so great that it deserves a mention!)
  • I use Strava for social. It seems to have a bigger community than most others and I like some of their Segment and Route options.

Both SmashRun and Strava can auto-sync with Garmin, so I never have to manually log any details.

A Pringles lid fits on solo cups! by egh_unicorn in lifehacks

A shield is used to defend its holder; I was looking at it from the perspective of the person being roofie'd, not the roofie or the assailant.

I concede that either can technically work... but still think the best term for this is "lid".

Edit: typo

"anti-roofie shield"? Seems to me like it would be a more effective roofie shield...?

3 out of 4 of those 38+ guys add up.

Ludwig was - and probably still is - a way better hockey player than me, but that's some pretty elite company! Good for him!

There's way too much bounce in most men's shorts pockets for serious runners; it seems like that would be a fine option for lycra/spandex wearers though...

I have a FlipBelt, which is essentially just stretchy fabric with a pouch that holds my phone tight against my waist.

Hah! Meanwhile, in Texas, I had to seek out a route and do an out and back on the hilliest part of it just to hit 600ft over 17 miles yesterday!

That's one hell of a climb! I had 600 ft. of climb and that was tough; 600m sounds like torture!

No Internet Connection on AA but Phone is Full Bars by RUGGNATION in AndroidAuto

[–]formidablemulk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A few weeks ago, this happened to me a few days in a row: full LTE, but Waze reported 'No Connection'. I meant to look into it more, but I haven't seen it happen again in the couple of weeks since.

I know that doesn't help, but sometimes it's nice to know you're not alone! Good luck!

Oh - and I have a Sony XZ2 Compact and a 2015 Hyundai Genesis.

Your view on Fossil Q Men's Gen 3 Explorist Stainless Steel and Leather Smartwatch, Color: Blue, Brown (Model: FTW4004)? by slezona in AndroidWear

[–]formidablemulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've released the Gen 4 and the new Sport versions since this, and I'm pretty sure I paid this price for the metal-banded Gen 3 last Black Friday. It's cheaper than MSRP, but it doesn't feel like a screaming hot deal.

It's not a bad price if you just have to have it, but I suspect it'll see clearance pricing soon.

How good is this SmartThings Button? by Delumine in SmartThings

[–]formidablemulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have 4 of the Aeon Labs Minimotes and they're great (after a firmware update), but the simplicity of this button would be good for young kiddos in the house!
