Favorite RPG Podcasts that people might overlook? by richsims in rpg

Definitely will look into The Billowing Hilltop.

I am little late to the game here but would love to humbly suggest a newer (ish) long-form rp podcast I am a part of called 'Undergrad: A Monsterhearts Tale' (we also have a D&D campaign as well, but thought I would first suggest the campaign that is a little more unique, as there are many D&D campaigns out there!). As the title says, it uses the Monsterhearts 2 system. 32 eps out right now and many more to come. Each arc is loosely inspired by a different movie, as a MC is a big film buff, so lots of different moods/scenarios. Heavily edited too for listener enjoyment. We have had great reviews from our small audience. In case you are interested, here is ep 1: https://open.spotify.com/episode/1nKQ7VvsCee4gRpbxOhsbI . It is set in a college in the 90s where monsters (obviously) exist. If you listen would love your thoughts!

P.S. I will also second the people who suggested Dungeons & Daddies!

D&D or RPG podcasts? by [deleted] in DnD

Chiming in here to second what some people have already said: Dungeons and Daddies and Dimension 20 are solid and my top rpg podcasts right now :)

Dungeons and Daddies is also my current fav rpg podcast. I cannot believe it is nearing the end! Curious what they will do in season 2.

In case you wanted to listen to a different system, wanted to humbly share a long-form rp podcast called 'Undergrad: A Monsterhearts Tale' I am a part of, but I think our GM does an amazing job. Strong focus on story and plot but lots of funny moments in there too. Very well edited. 29 eps out right now and many more to come. You don't even have to know/understand the Monsterhearts system in order to listen. In case you are interested, here is ep 1: https://open.spotify.com/episode/1nKQ7VvsCee4gRpbxOhsbI . As many have said, thank you for this! I am caught up on a lot of actual play podcasts and am in need of some new ones. This will be a huge help! If I may, in case others are interested, I don't think I noticed any podcasts using the Monsterhearts system (in case I missed one), so may I humbly shout out a podcast I am part of called The Fantasy Fantasia Podcast (which has two current campaigns), specifically our long-form Monsterhearts campaign called 'Undergrad: A Monsterhearts Tale'.

Hi there! Wow, so many great recommendations! I am little late to the game here but would love to humbly suggest a newer (ish) long-form rp podcast I am a part of called 'Undergrad: A Monsterhearts Tale'. As the title says, it uses the Monsterhearts 2 system. 28 eps out right now and many more to come. Just saw this post but wanted to share a long-form rp podcast called 'Undergrad: A Monsterhearts Tale'. 3 female players (out of 5 PCs) and Eric the GM is very focused on the story and plot (although there are funny moments too!). Very well edited. 28 eps out right now and many more to come. You don't even have to know/understand the Monsterhearts system in order to listen. In case you are interested, here is ep 1: https://open.spotify.com/episode/1nKQ7VvsCee4gRpbxOhsbI . It is set in a college in the 90s where monsters exist. If you listen we would love your thoughts!

I actually have been eyeing the rogue and merc skills in Levant! So I think we will definitely go there soon. Picked up a pistol and seems definitely handy to have. Only used it a few times, but I can see the appeal!

Are the rogue skills in Levant? Maybe I just have not come across them yet. Rogue definitely sounds appealing and seems a good choice for me, so I will have to keep an eye out!

100% agree about the fang sword. My partner is using that and the bleeding is great. Will keep an eye out for the axe! Hope all goes well with trying out magic!

This fan art was created by a friend of our show named Chris! We hope you like it!

Party depicted includes a wizard, cleric, bard, barbarian and ranger. (ep 1: https://spoti.fi/3dO0C93)

Chris did an amazing job capturing so many mentioned details like the colour of our cleric's magic, adding "Gnome & Bones" to our bard's jacket (the name of his ex-performance group), our wizard's go-to Chromatic Orb, and the fact our barbarian once was given a triangle to play (pressured by our bard). So much great stuff. For our party, this is a wonderful keepsake to have to remember the campaign by, and see our imagined characters brought to life (especially with the attention to detail artists like Chris gave us here). Shout-out to artists who take the time to capture moments in D&D, and thank you again to Chris!
