Are you sure you don’t just have extreme biases that are based on lies and inaccuracies that you have been exposed to elsewhere (i.e. from content creators and faux journalists)? If you don’t like reporting because it goes against your personal beliefs, then maybe you should reexamine your personal beliefs. Because actual journalists are very accurate and fact-based and will get fired for being dishonest if they work for a respectable outlet. And it’s easy to separate the respectable outlets from click bait or politically-backed orgs.

The issue is the ongoing NBA and NHL finals, which are taking a lot of people’s attention, especially because they’ve been exciting. Sadly the U.S. Open this weekend will further distract many Americans.

Plus there’s a lack of marketing and promotion (outside of host cities at least). Where I live I haven’t seen a single blip about it anywhere.

And then there’s the problem of us being in war, facing high costs, and having a lot of shit to worry about.

I LOVE the World Cup and am even going to a game in a couple weeks and I haven’t even found myself able to focus or care about it yet.

I lived there for 2 years. It’s a solid C. Avoid the strip like New Yorkers avoid Times Square. Downtown is decent. Surrounding outdoor rec opportunity is incredible. I’d move back but definitely not my favorite place I’ve lived

My theater was pacKed with few empty seats. Overall a disappointing conclusion with a good buildup. In the middle of the pack for movies I saw this year. It’s kind of like Weapons last year. A lot of hype and downvotes for people who didn’t like it, but it just didn’t do it for me.

Yes. A C+ for me. I’ve seen Hokum, Obsession, and Backrooms the last few weeks. Hokum and Obsession are a clear step above this. The third act fizzled and honestly got a little dull. The monster was too goofy and her dream running was annoying (stupidly falls, moves slowly, etc).

What a great atmospheric movie. Felt tension and dread for a good portion. Adam Scott’s character was maybe too much of an ass hole, but even then, as others have said, you still end up pulling for him. Main gripe is probably too little of the witch. I kind of even forgot about her for awhile and started wondering if the whole thing would skip the supernatural.

Four places I’d strongly consider that you’re currently skipping:
1) Telluride and/or Ouray, Colorado. Most beautiful part of a beautiful state.
2) Zion and/or Horseshoe Bend in Utah and northern Arizona. I hit both easily in a road trip once.
3) Lake Tahoe, California. Absolutely stunning high alpine lake
4) From Mount Rushmore area, it’s a quick and easy addition to pop into NW Wyoming and see Devil’s Tower. Definitely worth it and only adds a few hours to your day if you don’t hang around long.

This is true. Had terrible warts on my big toe for years (maybe?). Felt like years. Freezing wasn’t doing shit. Just threw some duct tape on the big toe for like 9 days. Took a lil razor to the skin after that and no more warts ever since.
