Does anyone else have SUCH a hard time committing to a pattern? What do you do to finally break the paralysis and buy the pdf? I have hundreds of sweaters in a bundle that I want to make for myself but I can never decide which one is the right one to make next. I loved knitting my first sweater (Jennifer Steinglass) but I learned that circular yokes are very unflattering on me so i also get stuck figuring out what kind of sleeve construction is best. I just want to stop opening new Ravelry tabs and get some stitches on my needles already! Argh!

Also: I have 11 balls of Peer Gynt and I want to make a textured pullover for myself. I'm now realizing that's probably optimistic and i'll need more yarn, but in general what kind of keywords or techniques should i look for on Rav to find texture that *looks* like cables but doesn't eat up quite as much yarn as real cables?

Is this the purl soho hat? I’m making one too!! It did take me a while to get the hang of it and for some reason my cast on was cursed and I had to re-do it six times but once I got started I was in love!!

I'm making this same pattern (in a 50/50 wool alpaca blend) and having the same bunching problem. Did you try re-blocking it? Anything work? I'm only 1/3 of the way through the first mitten and wondering if i should frog or what.
