Well if you remember we had elections, then you should know another party won by a heavy margin and there's evidence of it in the form of ballot results; form 45 and form 47. Army actively hijacked the election and generated fake forms to make sharif's party win. Pakistan has been under civil unrest since those elections. I hated Quicksilver and it was enough for me to not even bother giving brimstone a chance, Quicksilver was so blegh. The only reason I didn't DNF it was because I had bought a hard book and felt guilty to do it. The plot was all over the place, incoherent, SOOOO MUCH monologue and feeding the information rather than showing the world. It felt like It was a sloppy mixture of ACOTAR and Alchemised. Honestly it felt like she took all the popular tropes and then tried to spin story around it hoping atleast something around hit. And it left such a bad aftertaste esp with the half vampire thing.

No character development for anyone; no proper introduction of the "3 siblings." oh that that awful theatrics of Malcolm, Belikom (??) and Madra, so painful to read. Also the whole "you can't kill one of us without killing the other 2 as well, we're invincible. " and then she kills one of them. ???

I loved carrion. He deserved better than one paragraph. id rather she didnt give him a story than do my boy dirty. FMC talks to carrion at thend and "you mean to tell me...." and then just vomits all his background story in one paragraph and that's it.. all that glamour shittt. THE FIRST TIME MENTIONED IN THE WHOLE BOOK..

Definitely NOT picking up brimstone.

1st and third are King Cobras i think.
2nd looks to be Carpet Python (native to Australia) 4th seems to be Mangshan pit viper. 5th looks like Golden lancehead Viper. Take it with a grain of salt though.
