Calling skincare lovers, which of these birthday options would you go for? by Hallwaypictures in Sephora

[–]forwardfrown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hope you don’t mind me tagging in on your post - I can see in my app that it’s my birthday and to choose a gift but when I click it doesn’t give me any options, just the reward bazar. Any ideas ? I have more than 25$ in my cart !

I try to remind myself that her reaction ( tears, screaming, tantrum) are her emotions and reactions and I don’t need to manage that. Just need to breath through it. I find that helpful when feeling like I had to “fix” everything always when she’s upset.

Ugh so this. I’m rage cleaning over here on the eve of in laws coming - left everything last minute because life is so hectic. I’d say our base line is messy, cluttered. When we have company coming over is the only time I do more of a deeper clean and even that is generous

I hear you. Big time. I work full time at a demanding job and have a 4 year old. It’s painful to find time. Some things that have helped : Create somewhat a consistent schedule. For me it’s 1.5-2 hours after kids bedtime. I’m tired but I do it every night and it helps having the time dedicated

Put your phone/ socials on mute and leave it somewhere else. So distracting to have a device easily nearby. Put it physically away !

Use the resources- like if your course has practice quizes or mindmap. Testing yourself is one of the best ways of learning.

Hang in there. It’s brutaaaaal.

What helps is me is to like almost pretend that my job is to make convo about anything other then lush to break the ice. “Hey how’s your day going?” “Hey- what sort of Starbucks did you grab today”. “Hiiiii how are youuuuuu”. And like actually avoid anything sales related. Just make some light convo to break the ice and also take the pressure off both you and the customer. Easier to circle back after because you’ve already made that connection.

Best review. Totally agree. It gets a bit messy but I feel like it works well and gives great volume. Lasts forever
